I like to think that I am creative, sensual, optimistic, upbeat, funny and supportive christian woman. I was married but was not fortunate to have children. I think I'm funny and can have an intelligent conversation. I am a lady but I can still be silly I like to read, write, exercise, work on my garden and hang out with family and a few friends. I'm involved in my community but I'm trying to cut back a bit so I can concentrate on my graduate course, writing and a business venture. I'm fascinated by American History, especially the American Revolution period and its effect on free Blacks and slaves. I like fishing and Atlantic City. Philadelphia and its surrounding areas have a great deal to offer for night life, for example, going out to dinner at a local jazz club or checking out what's going on at the local universities lecture circuit. I have not been dancing in a while and would love to get back into that as well. Or find a nice spot to just talk and get to know you. I don't sweat the small stuff. If I'm not right for you or vice versa....be honest and then we can decide if we just want to be good supportive friends. I also am not into being rushed or rushing anyone else. If you truly want a relationship that is REAL then you should be willing to take the time and get to know the person. And, finally, if we're struggling to find something to talk about, then we probably have nothing in common. Things important to me: Three of my siblings, especially my twin. My spirituality and relationship with God and my few good friends. (God first, siblings second then friends.) Looking for the yin to my yang; someone to share everyday reality and funfilled fantasies. Also hope to find a few good female friends to chat with. A perfect day for me would be: summertime, school is out, and I'm able to relax and be on my time...not job time. I'd like to be vacationing at the beach with a cool breeze coming through the bedroom window. Or, in a nice hotel in NYC or Philly to see a Broadway play or visit the museum or a jazz concert. But I'd be just as happy in my own backyard, relaxing under my tent or umbrella with a good book, gin and tonic or a Long Beach Island, good music playing and my grill cooking some fish, chicken or ribs.....with a nice cool breeze and no bugs My current writing project is a woman's contemporary romance novel with an Atlantis theme. The pictures below are used for inspiration. .
The problem with us authors is that we always have other book projects in mind. I have two: a mystery series with an education angle and several children's picture books with historical angles. Only time will tell which project gets done first! (smile) That's it for now.
