Welcome to my life!!It is a life that is full of mystery,adventures, some successes--some failures but it is still my life. At 53 I am still realizing dreams and discovering life. There is so much to life to enjoy it is a shame that we sometimes waste more time than we should.
Some of the things of life I enjoy are being by the water-which to me is God's most natural tranquilizer. I love walking it, cruising to the islands on it and just sitting to enjoy the Beauty of it!! Simple pleasures that we sometimes take for granted. I also enjoy sports. I still enjoy playing tennis, softball & bowling. Spectator-wise I am a Dallas Cowboys, Detroit Pistons and New York Yankees fan along with being a NSU Spartan & most HBCUs fan.I love to dance & listen to R&B, Jazz and Gospel. I love the Arts including the theatre, and going to museums. I love anything that allows me to get connected with Nature be they walks, watching the stars at night or even watching the sun rise or set on the water. I have to have my solo time as it allows me time to get and stay connected to me.In this world of rush and stress, and especially with all the roles we play in this life, particularly relationship-wise, it is very essential to stay true to ourselves. For if we can't be true to ourselves, who can we be true to? Was it Shakespeare who once said "To thyne own self be true?" I truly subscribe to his belief. For if we can't be true to ourselves, then how can we be true to anyone else? Makes sense to me!! But just as having "quality solo time" is important, so is spending time with friends.I enjoy spending time with friends.Friendship is one of those pleasures of life that we definitely should not take for granted.True friendships are a rarity and are as precious as the most precious jewel.I value friendships and the honesty that comes with them very highly. Honesty is important to me so in reading this, if you are not honest, please do not attempt to contact me. I wish you Peace and the Love of Life!!
