I'm going to school to be a nurse practitioner and right now I just want to get to know some 1 to talk me through these times. Here are the basics: I'm a free-spirit, but really hard on myself at the same time. I don't want to do things to hurt people. I truly believe in treating others that way I want to be treated. Now with all that said, I love life and I accept many of the trials and tribs that come with it keeping an open mind and ear for the lesson in it. Many situations I've gone through have made me stronger. Many people have used the words "intriguing and/or interesting" to describe me. Anything from vintage/secondary clothes to scuba diving. I'm very diverse! I really feel like the world is my oyster, very vast and waiting for me to explore and conquer. I'm into all things that are "The Arts." I love to dance, draw, paint, music, poetry, theater and the like. I have been formally trained in Fine Arts and in Theater. However, I do believe that God grants all of us an avenue to continuosly pursue our passions. There are other parts of me that people tell me that they find interesting too. I can hang out with the "boys" and spit my gangsta talking about the best of the best in the NBA or we can get down on some NBA Live on PS2. I generally enjoy football, tennis & track & field. Women's & Men's college basketball are my favorite because its more competitive. My other interests range from spending time at a bookstore to listening to live neo-soul artists make poetry come to life. There is nothing more captivating than to hear or see a poet letting the rhythm on the music carry their words to a euphoric plateau. There's no way that you can't feel that inside of you. It becomes spiritual! I also take my life as a Christian seriously too. There are some things that I just feel that aren't right. I'm not going to necessarily evoke my beliefs on you, but right is right & wrong is wrong. I try hard not to allow my personal desires to take total control over me. I must admit that I am NOT perfect, but I certainly strive for perfection daily. Instead of cussing somebody out, when you and they know very well they deserve it, I pray for them and for the situation. I try to maintain mind control too but sometimes I have to get things off my chest. I like to write things out and pray for guidance before I confront the situtation. By doing this I usually am able to say what I need to say with a clear head. So, in a nutshell, well actually a short story (lol), that's all I can think to say right now. If there's anything else that you would like to know about what stimulates my psyche, feel free to ask. Who I'd like to meet: Some 1 who put God first and than her man love life and want to live it to the fullest may not be good English that what I feel and want!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm looking for a friend/companion that if it turns can grow into more that would be good but mainly a friend. I really haven't met any people here but I want substance in any type relationship. I am looking for a well put together woman that has a job that doesn't have baby dad drama that can hold a conversation more that 5 min and somebody that will remember what we talk about the next week. I want a woman that will treat me like a man but yet like also a homeboy. I want to be able to communicate with her on every level spiritually mentally maybe physically, but most of all you must possess positive energy and believe she will be able to succeed in anything that she put her mind to. She has to be ambitious PLEASE SHOW SOME LOVE SIGN MY GUESS BOOK LEAVE A COMMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!
Let Go for 2009 There are people who can walk away from you. And hear me when I tell you this! When people can walk away from you: Let them walk. I don't want you to try to talk another person into staying with you, Loving you, calling you, caring about you, coming to see you, staying attached to you. I mean hang up the phone. When people can walk away from you let them walk. Your destiny is never tied to anybody that left. The bible said that, they came out from us that it might be made manifest that they were not for us. For if they had been of us, no doubt they would have continued to be with us. [1 John 2:19] People leave you because they are not joined to you. And if they are not joined to you, you can't make them stay. Let them go. And it doesn't mean that they are a bad person it just means that their part in the story is over. And you've got to know when people's part in your story is over so that you don't keep trying to raise the dead. You've got to know when it's dead. You've got to know when it's over. Let me tell you something. I've got the gift of good-bye. It's the tenth spiritual gift, I believe in Good-bye. It's not that I'm hateful; it's that I'm faithful, and I know whatever God means for me to have He'll give it to me. And if it takes too much sweat I don't need it. Stop begging people to stay. Let them go!! If you are holding on to something that doesn't belong to you and was never intended for your life, then you need to...... LET IT GO!!! If you are holding on to past hurts and pains...... LET IT GO!!! If someone can't treat you right, love you back, and See your worth..... LET IT GO!!! If someone has angered you. LET IT GO!!! If you are holding on to some thoughts of evil and revenge...... LET IT GO!!! If you are involved in a wrong relationship or addiction...... LET IT GO!!! If you are holding on to a job that no longer meets your needs or talents............ LET IT GO!!! If you have a bad attitude....... LET IT GO!!! If you keep judging others to make yourself feel better...... LET IT GO!!! If you're stuck in the past and God is trying to take you to a new level In Him........ LET IT GO!!! If you are struggling with the healing of a broken relationship....... LET IT GO!!! If you keep trying to help someone who won't even try to help themselves...... LET IT GO!!! If you're feeling depressed and stressed......... LET IT GO!!! If there is a particular situation that you are so used to handling You and God are saying "take your hands off of it," then you need to....... LET IT GO!!! Let the past be the past... Forget the former things. GOD is doing a new thing for 2008!!! LET IT GO!!! Get Right or Get Left. Think about it, and then. LET IT GO!!! "The Battle is the Lord" During the next 60 seconds, Stop whatever you are doing, and take this opportunity. (Literally it is only ONE minute!) All you have to do is the following: You simply say "The Lords Prayer" The Lords Prayer. Our Father, who are in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name, Thy Kingdom Come, Thy Will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day,our Daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the Kingdom, and the Power, and the Glory, forever! Amen. A holy man was having a conversation with the Lord one day and said, 'Lord, I would like to know what Heaven and Hell are like.' The Lord led the holy man to two doors. He opened one of the doors and the holy man looked in. In the middle of the room was a large round table. In the middle of the table was a large pot of stew, which smelled delicious and made the holy man's mouth water. The people sitting around the table were thin and sickly. They appeared to be famished. They were holding spoons with very long handles that were strapped to their arms and each found it possible to reach into the pot of stew and take a spoonful. But because the handle was longer than their arms, they could not get the spoons back into their mouths. The holy man shuddered at the sight of their misery and suffering. The Lord said, 'You have seen Hell.' They went to the next room and opened the door. It was exactly the same as the first one. There was the large round table with the large pot of stew which made the holy man's mouth water. The people were equipped with the same long-handled spoons, but here the people were well nourished and plump, laughing and talking. The holy man said, 'I don't understand.' It is simple,' said the Lord. 'It requires but one skill. You see, they have learned to feed each other. The greedy think only of themselves.' When Jesus died on the cross, he was thinking of you.ÃÆ&rsqu o;â₠¬Å¡Ã&fn of;‚&Atild e;‚ Remember that I will always share my spoon with you. |
