I knelt to pray but not for long,
I had too much to do.
I had to hurry and get to work
For bills would soon be due.
So I knelt and said a hurried prayer,
And jumped up off my knees.
My Christian duty was now done
My soul could rest at ease.....
All day long I had no time
To spread a word of cheer
No time to speak of Christ to friends,
They'd laugh at me I'd fear.
No time, no time, too much to do,
That was my constant cry,
No time to give to souls in need
But at last the time, the time to die.
I went before the Lord,
I came, and I stood with downcast eyes.
For in his hands God! Held a book;
It was the book of life.

God looked into his book and said
'Your name I cannot find
I once was going to write it down...
But never found the time'

When I say..."I'm a Christian" I'm not shouting "I'm clean livin."

I'm whispering "I was lost." Now I'm found and forgiven.

When I say..."I'm a Christian" I don't speak of this with pride.

I'm confessing that I stumble and need CHRIST to be my guide.

When I say..."I'm a Christian" I'm not trying to be strong.

I'm professing that I'm weak and need HIS strength to carry on

When I say..."I'm a Christian" I'm not bragging of success.

I'm admitting I have failed and need GOD to clean my mess.

When I say..."I'm a Christian" I'm not claiming to be perfect,

My flaws are far too visible but, God believes I am worth it.

When I say..."I'm a Christian" I have my share of heartaches

So I call upon HIS name.

When I say..."I'm a Christian"

I'm not holier than thou,

I'm just a simple sinner who received GOD'S good grace, somehow.

Be very careful if you make a woman cry, because GOD counts her tears. The woman came out of a man's rib. Not from his feet to be walked on. Not from his head to be superior, but from the side to be equal, under the arm to be protected, and next to the heart to be loved. You're an extraordinary, precious, & gracious lady. I thank you for coming into my wonderful and blessed home here on the Planet. Before you go I'll leave a few samples of my thoughts and concepts for your food of thought:

1. Many people will walk in and out of your life, but only true friends will leave footprints in your heart.

2. A true friend is someone who reaches for your hand and touches your heart.

3. To handle yourself, use your head. To handle others, use your heart.

4. GOD Gives every bird it's food, but HE does not throw it into its nest.

5. You come to love not by finding the perfect person, but by seeing an imperfect person perfectly.

6. If you cannot find peace within yourself, you will never find it anywhere else.

What is a Strong Black Man?

A STRONG BLACK MAN walks in stride.
He holds his family together because it is his pride.
A STRONG BLACK MAN keeps his family safe and secure.
To accomplish that, all pain he'll endure.
A STRONG BLACK MAN is wise, yet meek.
His strong Nubian Queen he desperately seeks.
A STRONG BLACK MAN is gentle and kind.
A STRONG BLACK MAN is so very hard to find.
A STRONG BLACK MAN enhances his kids.
He steers them in the right direction so they won't repeat the wrongs he did.
A STRONG BLACK MAN knows the path he leads his family must follow, yet at the same time his pride he must sometimes swallow.
A STRONG BLACK MAN works hard every day striving for his family, keeping negatives away.
A STRONG BLACK MAN has a responsibility to teach.
His faith is in GOD, and he's not out of reach.
A STRONG BLACK MAN is a genuine king, yet he'd never be so if there hadn't been a NUBIAN QUEEN.

Now you know a determined, dedicated, encouraged, committed, and a all-true STRONG BLACK MAN:

There is moment in your life

Whatever your cross Whatever your cross, whatever your pain, There will always be sunshine, after the rain.... Perhaps you may stumble, perhaps even fall, but God's always ready, to answer your call... He knows every heartache, sees every tear, a word from His lips, can calm every fear... Your sorrows may linger, throughout the night, But suddenly vanish, dawn's early light... The Savior is waiting, somewhere above, to give you His grace, and send you His love...
