I'm a down to earth kind of girl who can enjoy the basic simplicities that life has to offer. Unlike most girls my age, I do have my head on straight. If you were to grant me just 30 minutes of your time, I'm sure you'd find that I am quite the intellectual young woman. Having said that -fellas, please refrain from comin' at me with your three to five worded notes. I am interested in far more than a friendly conversation about my derriere. Seriously. A girl gets tired of replying to these foolish messages I find every day in my inbox.

I'm a book worm; I absolutely love to read. The library happens to be one of my favourite places to be. Some of my favourite authors include King, Grisham, and Dawkins. Alongside my passion for literature is my dire adoration to write. Writing provides me with intangeable comfort and complete serenity. When I write I am awarded with such feelings of freedom and release. I have just recently started up my blog on here so definitely take a look if you are interested.

Now, although I love a good read from time to time, I'm all about incorporating a little play time into my schedule as well. I live in a rather small town where means of fulfilling recreational desires are scarce. As such, I usually find myself up at the club on weekends. I am still in the process of finding that perfect balance between work and play. I'm sure I'll get it right some day! =)

Musically, I'd like to believe that I am rather talented.
I have been singing for about 10 years now and I take what I do pretty seriously. I actively play flute, piano, and guitar. I am currently attending school full-time and majoring in bio-chem, but I secretly wish that music will eventually maneuver its way into my future.

I may be young, but I believe, whole-heartedly, that I am already ahead of the game. I would love to engage in some meaningful, intellectual discussions with some of you like-minded individuals out there, so please, feel free to get a hold of me whenever time is in your favor!
