Hit-and-Run Update

After 3 years, I finally got a hearing for Social Security Disability. I've been trying to live on less than $1000/month from non-Service-Connected Military disability. (I was a Chief Electrician in the Navy (mumble mumble) years ago.)

I haven't driven, since I get feint making left turns, so it was probably not my smartest move to buy a 29' Motor Home. My last 5 vehicles were Ford Festivas, which could park anywhere and get 40+MPG. It was as cheap as 3 months rent, but I really need someone... (continue reading)

Revised: Messed Up by a Hit-and-Run and Living on the Dole

On July 6, 2007, while returning my daughter to her Mother's, the car we were riding in was struck from the rear, leaving me suffering severe whiplash damages to my spine, left arm and shoulder, left inner-ear, and brainstem. I have been dizzy since then, with memory gaps. I have been unable to work, which is terrible, I really enjoyed what I was doing, Satellite installation, and I really liked meeting people and working outdoors; especially since I was making $75K+..
