Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things Philippians 4:8 I have only but a minute, only 60 seconds in it, forced upon me, can`t refuse it, didn`t seek it, didn`t choose it, but it`s up to me to use it. I must suffer if I lose it; give account if I abuse it. Just a tiny little minute, but all of eternity is wrapped up in it." - B.E.Mays ;

Fela!, the new Broadway musical based on the life and music of Afrobeat pioneer and political rebel Fela Anikulapo-Kuti. Congratulations on 11 Tony nominations. The act of playing music with people of different cultures, religions, economics and politics is a powerful statement. It shows that we can find ways of working together and sharing our experiences with one another in a positive way. Music has the power to break down the walls between cultures, to raise the level of human understanding. ~ Mark Johnson, founder, Playing for Change. Grammy winning producer/engineer Mark Johnson and his Playing For Change (www.PlayingForChange.com) team traveled for a decade with a single minded passion to connect the world though music. Their ambitious journey took them from post-apartheid South Africa, through the ancient sites of the Middle East, to the remote beauty of the Himalayas and beyond. Using innovative mobile technology, the PFC crew filmed and recorded more than 100 musicians, largely outdoors, in parks, plazas and promenades, in doorways, on cobblestone streets and amid hilly pueblos. Each captured performance created a new mix in which essentially the artists are all performing together, albeit hundreds or thousands of miles apart. Playing for Change is an extraordinary effort to unite musicians and vocalists from diverse parts of the globe, concurrently seeking to immerse audiences in a multimedia movement to inspire, connect and bring peace to the world through music. JOIN THE MOVEMENT as the Playing for Change Band unites for some very special concerts! The Playing for Change Band includes: Mohammed Alidu Clarence Bekker Tal Ben-Ari ,Tula, Peter Bunetta Grandpa Elliott Mermans Kenkosenki of Afro Fiesta Reggie McBride Jason Tamba Matondo of Afro Fiesta Louis Mhlanga
