In 2001 we opened a vinyl record store (Benton Records) that catered to the DJ's. The record store closed in 2007.

In 2003 we started the Tampa Music Conference because the artist would hang out at the record store to get the DJ's to play their music. While the artist were there they would ask questions about becoming a better artist so we formed the Tampa Music Conference or TMC. Over the last six years, the Tampa Music Conference has grown to become Central Florida's Premier Networking Event.

TMC would like to thank the 2009 Panel Members:

  • Sean Kingston - Artist / Songwriter
  • Issy Sanchez - President/Founder Elite ADM Marketing & Promotion.
  • Sujit Kundu - VP/Rhythm-Universal Records, CEO/founder S.K.A.M Artists DJs
  • DJ Noodles -Fix Ya Face Music / Sirius Satelite
  • Dee Sonaram - VP of E1 Music formerly known as Koch Records
  • Beata - Director Rhy/Crossover Promotions, West Coast JIVE Label Group
  • DJ Christion - WLLD Mixshow DJ / Terror Squad / Fat Joe Tour DJ
  • 3rd Leg Greg - VP of Street Lace Promotions

Now in 2009 we "got the bug" again and have now started Benton Entertainment. Right now we are focusing on music promotions.
