ABOUT ME

I am single, vegan, fun-loving, daughter, sister, friend and young entrepreneur/professional.

I consider myself a pretty well-rounded person. I am fluent in Spanish, try to work out daily, and I am now learning flamenco and bellydancing. In my free time I love dancing Salsa, Merengue & Bachata at the local Latin clubs, attending cultural festivals, dining at ethnic restaurants, cooking elaborate vegan meals, hearing lectures, going to movies and seeing plays. I also like reading and researching things to help me in my personal, professional, mental and emotional development and I have been trying to spend more time with friends and family.

My brother is a Capoeira master and knows like 14 African languages. So next I want to learn the art of Capoeira so I can learn self defense/martial arts. I am a recovering work-a-holic. When I am in work mode people notice my super intelligence, business savvy and my professionalism. I have been called the consummate professional. Unfortunately this puts me in business mode most of the time. So even though most of my friends consider me to be one of the most compassionate people they know, at first I can seem too cold, formal, professional or standoffish. But since I am a recovering work-a-holic I won't say much else about business except to say that I am very business savvy and I am a key player at a small construction company in Raleigh.

In my personal life people notice my empathy and compassion for all living creatures big or small (except ticks, mosquitoes, snakes and leaches) Smile. They also notice I am open-minded about experiencing life to the fullest (except for anything that includes jumping off of high places, consuming dead animals, doing drugs (legal or illegal) or harming the planet).

I am now interested in meeting new people, going out more and finding new fun ways to enjoy life. I love going out and having a good time and love hanging out with people who don't need cigarettes, drugs or alcohol to party.

I am open for suggestions. Got any ideas?
