Hawk Enterprize Ent is hosting auditions for three open acts to open for ICE CUBE in concert Friday December 12th at the Meridian Club in Downtown Houston. All acts are welcome, Auditions can be no longer than 3mins and you must bring your own audio track to perform. Auditions will be held at the Meridian Club Thursday December 4th from 5:00p.m to 10:00p.m. registration fee is $25.00. Hello my name is Bernard aka "Hawk" and I am the Executive Producer of the The Original Soul Sunday Show. It is the longest running production of it's kind in the country that features Spoken Word Poets, Singers, Live Bands and other types of entertainers from across the U.S. The Soul Sunday Show is approaching the 400th show mark that will be reached by the 2008year end. There has been well over 500 performers from around the country that has graced the Soul Sunday Stage all backed by a live band and Dj.
Soul Sunday is world famous for its open mic hour and some of the best new undiscovered talented musicians, vocalist and spoken word poets from around the country have preformed on the Soul Sunday stage. All future Soul Sunday Show's will feature the work's of Visual Artist John Foreman who is forging his way into the Houston's art scene like a storm in the Gulf of Mexico. Soul Sunday's musical director guitarist Chris Hines leads one of the best sit in musician bands around. The band features the former drummer of Destiny Child, Spencer "Mad Drummer" Rodgers, both of these truly great musicians are from Houston. On the Spoken Word Poetry side of the show Soul Sunday features "LoveJewel" a fan favorite from Texas City/LaMarque Tx plus many others local poets. Dj Kool Emdee spinn'n on the twin turn tables along with me "Hawk" as your host. Soul Sunday has one of the best creole foods menu's around serving Red Beans & Rice, Crawfish Rice, Creole Pasta and Gumbo with plenty to drink..

I am the Hawk owner Hawk Enterprize Entertainment a music artist management, marketing and promotion company which began in Houston Texas in 2000 but now operate out of both Houston & New Orleans.
After relocating to New Orleans in 2004 Hawk Enterprize increased its services by venturing into concert productions, stage play productions, talent showcases, festivals and special events. Hawk Enterprize is the originator of the King\Queen of the South Best of the Best All Around Talent Contest which attracts contestants from all around the country now in it`s fourth year, the Annual Urban-Hood Festiva that features 50 to 60 music artists from around the countryl. Also, the Battle Rap Series now in it`s fifth year with tens of thousands of dollars won each year to the illest underground rapper from around the country.
I am also a talent scout for various sources in the music industry and search the country looking for and discovering new artists for those sources always looking for the next superstar.
Well in August of 2005 Hawk Enterprize became a victim of the Hurricane Katrina event, but prior to Hawk Enterprize was a thriving business with three separate locations in New Orleans along with a computer company, clothing store and state of the art music studio. Hurricane Katrina destroyed everything that I had worked so very hard to accomplished, it destoyed all the material structures of my businesses but it didn`t dampen or remove my spirit or passion for what I do. Like most things that happens in life you got to pick yourself up and face the fact that life goes on with or without you and with that said, Hawk Enterprize will be back with the blessing of the Great Creator of all things and through my faith all things is possible.
I got the nickname "Hawk" from my law enforcement days which expanded over ten years. I got my reputation from my sixteen years as a professional kickboxer and boxer. I also have black belts in five different styles of Martial Arts. I`ve fought all over the world with nearly a hundred professional bouts under my belt. I`m retired now but I once held every championship title belt of the different weight division I fought in. After I retired I opened a bodyguard service for celebrities. Today, I`m considered a high level security expert and very proficient with the use of conventional and unconventional weapons. I don`t do much of this these days, only for special clients.
Hawk Enterprize currently is managing or promoting for over fifty clients, singers, musicians, rappers and bands. Hawk Enterprize also do book artists for entertainment events around the country
