Our brothas, gorgeous in shades from deepest darkest chocolate to creamy almond, confident, intelligent, and proud.
Our sistahs, graceful, regal, born divas with style, possessing a natural beauty that is envied by all. I am enjoying this opportunity to connect with you all.
I'm NOT on this site for dating I just enjoy meeting new people, making new friends, and surrounding myself with good people.
A little about me...
Kind, honest, outgoing, people person. Family oriented and traditional, fun loving and laid back. Money is unimportant, how its managed does. I love the simple things in life, a proud black sistah, proud of my culture, heritage, and my natural African beauty. Please don't judge me by "European" standards of beauty. :-)I love good clean physical fun, movies, pool, bowling, concerts, comedy shows, Soulfood Sundays, open mic, long walks, candalight dinners, bubblebaths, reading, bookclubs, skee ball, long drives, Blockbuster nights, sports events, fishing, and traveling. I love picnics, old school games parties and family oriented activities.
I love to surround myself with positive people. I welcome communication from those who are interested in uplifting, empowering, and encouraging others.

I'd just like to add...
To my brothas: Don't expect a woman to be LESS to make you feel like MORE of a man. Understand when a woman asserts herself she is not in competition with you but may have something special to add to the relationship. Be thankful for a woman who works with you as a partner. Appreciate an intelligent, goal oriented, sharp female as an Asset in your life. As an old friend once said, Divide/Share the Effort and Maximize/Multiply the Affect. Women will typically accept men flaws and all, appreciate that. A REAL WOMAN can do it by herself...but a REAL MAN won't let her.
To my sistahs: Lift up your man, be his support system, cheerleading squad, his sanctuary. Isn't it enough he has to do battle with the rest of the world. Let him come home and have peace of mind. Don't expect more than your willing to bring to the table. Don't expect him to comply to unreal expectations. "Leave that Prince Charming stuff in the fairy tales." Concentrate on a man's integrity, the content of his character, morals, and beliefs. Focus on being the best you can be. Concentrate on your goals, your dreams, and your needs. Be comfortable in your own skin, treat yourself well, and so will others. Don't be a woman that needs a man....be a woman a man needs!
