Peace and Blessings. Good to be re-establishing myself on the Planet. I am first and foremost a father of two highly intelligent, rambunctious young girls. They are my soul and jewels of the earth. I'm not necessarily looking for anyone on the Planet, but should I happen to find anyone, she must understand that it's a package deal. I really just want to meet interesting people with opinions and who are passionate about their opinions. If you have nothing to say, don't bother me. You'd get a quicker response from FEMA... I am a writer and political commentator for several websites; I'll have my own site and blog soon enough (look for me). I don't lean towards any particular party; the Democrats have screwed us as often as the Republicans. My job is simply to remind the American people in general (African Americans specifically) to think again. We have a responsibility to examine the political process and utilize it to avail ourselves of elected officials and self-appointed "leaders" who aren't doing their jobs... One thing I must make clear: I came on BP primarily to network with other Black people (hence the name BLACKPLANET). To those of different ethnicities, I don't discriminate. However for white women who visit my page trying to make moves, let it go. My love will always be for a BLACK WOMAN... I believe in being as real as possible. I'm 5'9", 170. I'm not bulging with muscle (though I am defined). I make a comfortable living, but I'm not large and it's too damn expensive to drive. I've attended some college, but I'm principally self-educated; my university was the public library and well-chosen, second-hand bookstores. I'm highly opinionated about my people and our status in America and throughout the world. I'm a superhero cartoonist in my spare time and I love science fiction (Star Wars geek). Musically, I have a wide rage of tastes, from jazz to reggae to alternative rock to conscious hip-hop (the little that is left, I can't stand where hip-hop has gone), I work out regularly, read endlessly (I can lose myself at Borders or Barnes & Noble), enjoy spending time with my daughters, and am a hopeless romantic.
