I truly believe that "Economic Unity Is The Key To Our Success!" Economic Power gives us Political Power . Political Power gives us the Governmental Power to solve the many problems that plague our community! Here are some very sobering facts. Fact: Black people spend 95% of our income "outside" of our communities. A measly 2% then remains in Black hands inside the community where we then typically take that 2% down to the White owned bank and deposit it where it is then out of our control, and where we generally can't even get a Personal or Business Loan. http://www.blackbusinessowners hip.comFact: The Black Hair Product Industry Is Controlled By Non-Black People. Only Black people have Black peoples hair, yet the Black Hair Care Industry is controlled by others outside of our communities who make sure the revenue the receive from this industry stays in their communities. . See, the problem is, our spending patterns are inappropriate. We aren't consciously doing what others ethnic groups do consciously and unconsciously. So we struggle to get by on the 2% we do manage to keep in our communities which makes it financially impossible to make it without some form of government subsidies. Then we belly-ache and complain about how systemic racism has it's foot on our neck. All of this while other ethnic groups demonstrate the power of keeping their disposable income within their respective communities, and even worse for us, they are harnessing ours! We must stop this "capital drain" out of Black Communities.
