3/20/08 - I'm currently writing for the website: http://pearlswindow.com and I'm too hyped about it! I do celebrity interviews, etc, but I'm most proud of the fact that I am creator/writer of a daily soap opera that appears on the site Mon-Fri.
It currently doesn't have a name, but for whatever reason, none of the suggested names struck a cord within me, so as of today (episode 40 something) it's still entitled, "Untitled" <-- it just kind of fit and now it's sort of a running joke. (The show with no name). Check me out on Pearl's Window

"Love me, leave me, or let me go! If this is love, I can`t take much more!
We`ve been there and done that time and time again, but the patience you depend on - is wearing quite thin. I love you, you know that and I`m giving this my all.
Yet at the same time, I`m helpless, can we take another fall? You love me? You say you do, but is saying the words enough? If you love me as you say you do, do it right - I call your bluff
Love me, leave me, or let me go, if this is love, I can`t take much more!
Shoutin` and braggin`, "Oh what skills you`ve got!" - Look at you, I`m sick of you - let me tell you what you`re NOT! I guess how I feel just don`t mean nothin - Shakin my head in digust while you huffin` and puffin` - So that`s the deal huh? It`s all about YOU? Wham Bam...well I`ll be damn...I guess you thought I was through!
Love me, leave me, or I'll settle the score... on second thought, do us both a favor.. get your shiit and hit the door!
New Poem (October 3, 2001)
How do you get mad cause I`m not in love with you? You say you`ve made some changes because of all that we went through?
My love for you is clear, but not the kind YOU want to hear, I`m saddend by your sentiment and I fear for your next intimate. You say to move on and "fukk em" and if that`s how you feel, "good luck Hon!"
Your friends say leave him alone, he don`t want you, so move on. You should take that advice, but I suggest you think twice, wasn`t meant to be literal, and I think it`s just pitiful.
A friendship now gone and YOU"VE hurt this, because the changes in you were just surface. I think this time I`m really done, this cat and mouse is no longer fun.
Be who you want to be and do what you gotta do, my sentiments are just as yours, so "Fukk U too!"
New Poem (September 10, 2001)
I'm appalled by your arrogance, to think that I wasted my time. You think you're the she-it, the greatest, a dime?
Well I'll tell you what boo, that last part IS true, 10 pennies is more than I'd pay.
To have issues like yours and you disrespect ME, close your eyes, clasp your hands, and you PRAY!
Your whole world is a fantasy, so put all the blame on me, cause that`s the sick world in which you live. You can pretend you`re the greatest, while I deal with your latest and you bank on my ability to forgive.
How did we get here?, the words I`ve longed to hear were "I`m sorry, I know I`m not perfect!" but that`s too much like right, you`d rather deny it, then fight and expect me to sit back and wait.
Do you KNOW you`re not perfect and my last nerve, you`ve worked it....people don`t hate you because you`re so great!!
In fact, it's a lie and no matter HOW hard you try, you can`t fool those closest to you. If you took a consensus love, you`ve got some serious issues love, and that she-it you`ll never get through.
If you smell something bad everywhere you go, then sweetheart, maybe it`s YOU!

Run as fast as you can run from me---get as far as you can get. Cause I don`t want your useless azz and I don`t need your shiit!
I`ve strategized my life this time and I know just where to start. Gettin` rid of all the redundancy, gonna reconstruct my heart.
If you think your life is worthless now, just wait until you see--how I take the focus once put into you and bring it back to me!
Did you think that this ride would last forever, while you used and abused me too? I`m climbin` in the window of opportunity, and I hope you make it through.
On the other side, is where you stand, callin` my name, reachin for my hand. I just keep on walkin, NOW it`s all about ME.See I`m a bad MF, when I want to be!
Got your mouth wide open, eyes big as hell like you don`t have a clue. While I`m soaring through the skies, resting on cloud nine------Thoust know not, that I fly too?
For those of you that don`t know me and those that THINK they do....The best person to give you some background ON me IS me.....so here goes...
I`m a 34 year old African American male currently residing in HOUSTON, an Aspiring Author who spends a great deal of my "down time" right here with the computer on my lap, I write "some" poetry, (not really my thing, but the little I`ve done has gotten some great reviews) mostly into fiction writings.
Some people meet me and like me right off the bat, but I`m the first to admit that I may take some gettin used to, I`m not a "people" person initially, because I`m kinda quiet folks assume I`m ARROGANT or CONCEITED or I "think I`m the she-it. Quite the contrary...
I`m loving, friendly, funny, a lifelong friend who will give you my last, if I care about you, and give what I CAN even if I don`t.
Ridiculous thing is, 95% of the folks who claim not to like me have never had anycontact with me what-so-ever, which I find strange.
I`d rather utilize my time doing positive things as opposed to making an attempt at proving myself to people who`d rather believe in the bad things they hear thus, fostering that negative immature behavior that I care not to be a part of.
I say, "LEAVE EM HATIN`AND MOVE AROUND....THEY"LL still BE THERE WHEN YOU GET BACK!
Being in Love!!!
So loving, so kind, the potential to be. I wonder if she`s feeling the same as me?

Love is a constant, forever, it`s steady.
The phone rings, myheart races,who can it be? Slow, broken breaths as I spot the caller ID...I`m euphoric, so jubilant that I don`t know what to do, the voice on the other end my love, is none other than you.
This ain`t nothin new, love. To be hit from the blind by true love, I`m ready, I`m willing, I`m able, to lay all my cards on the table.
Will you give me the opportunity, cause this love thing is so brand new to me.

I`m feelin too good, my mans arm around my shoulder. I don`t care what you`re thinkin` as your stares grow colder!
Smilin` and laughin like teenagers, we love, I`ve been blessed with a good man from the Heavens above!

I`m the happiest, luckiest brotha on the planet, my man loves me unconditionally and never takes me for granted!
At the movies there`s no one but my man and me. They`re whispering and pointing and think we don`t see, "....two men THAT close, you KNOW they gotta be...."

When he`s away, I miss him, I want him near me, but I understand as I let my man be.
At the gym when we ball, sometimes he lets me win, not because I can`t, but he`s also my best friend....
I`m secure with my manhood, resting my arm on his head, while your looks of disdain say, you wish we were dead!
We`ve got nothing but pride, don`t CARE what you think, won`t abandon our principles and to your level sink!
I can`t help but wonder though,"...if only they knew, that our kind of love is nothing brand new..." would they be so judgemental and damn us to hell....If they knew the kind of love that WE know so well?
Should he clue them in now, should I even bother, to introduce you to my son and he introduce his father?!!!<

What is the significance of MY life to you, is it possible that YOUR life has left you no clue? You say my life is wrong and some day I`ll regret this, but why is the focal point of YOUR day, what happens on MY mattress?

I`m delivered, unfettered, unihibited and free, my mind is at ease, it`s o.k. to be me!
No more worry, no self-pity, no self concious and no doubt. The here, now and positivity is what I`m all about - I won`t let man destroy it, you can`t take joy from me. If it`s my life that moves you, how sad yours must be!
I`m delivered, unfettered, uninhibited and free, on a fast track toGlory and THAT you will see.
I`m moving forward with this life that is wholesome and MINE, can YOU say "Delivered."?....... .it comes in due time.

At first I was puzzled, was it something I did? Did I stab you in the back with a knife that I hid? No Sir, I won`t fight you, cause that would be low...the power of intelligence is what I have toshow, stand by and watch me, while I give you my all, the brains plus the beauty, check the way I walk tall.
Not to worry though, cause someday, your bright light will shine, but until then be patient, cause this good life is MINE!
