WORDS OF A BLACK MAN They say behind every black man there is a strong black woman, however I find that hard to believe. Yes I agree that there are some out there and many to come. But as of right now, there is very few at hand. We as men, tend to make mistakes, but we have the potential to learn from them. We as men suffer from more than the human mind can imagine, or the eye can see. Like the ones that are imprisoned, and has to deal with the possibility of being alone. Not knowing what to expect, who to trust, or even what is to come in the near future. They say that our women are and will always be a reflection of us. Which in some sense of the word is true. More so, because we all seem to make the same mistakes in life. But we all learn from them in many different ways. Yes our women beat, raped, hurt, emotionally drained, and is sometimes powerless to the natural kindness that comes with the human heart. They say you are only as strong as your weakest link. Which I am forced to believe, cause as a man I know and understand that there are very few black men. 'STRONG BLACK MEN', in this world that we live in. Not just here and now. But in the past as well. Like the slave men who watched the white man rape our women, and was too scared to bring forth the power that the black male figure holds. 'BLACK' is supposed to represent POWER. But if we are only as strong as our weakest link, then how much POWER do we really have? 'STRONG BLACK MEN', and the 'WOMEN' who creates their reflections...
