My name is Benjamin Mouzone and I'ma home grown Philly product. I wrote a book titled "Through The Eyes of A Rookie", which is about my journey to becoming a rookie police offier, my personal on the job experiences, and my perception of my duties as a police officer. I graduated out the academy at 21. My transition from civilian to law enforcement officer was somthing that I definitely thought was worth putting on paper so people can kinda get an idea of some of the pressures and situations police officers go through. The goal is for the book to be a small eye opener. I know I won't be able to change the publics perception of cops, especially since the history of the badge and uniform is commonly viewed as a negative entity. My goal is to answer a few questions and provide some guidance with "Through The Eyes of A Rookie".
