So let me ask you: How many times has a woman made eye contact with you, and you turned away? How often have you walked past a woman, and not acknowledged her greeting? How many of you go to clubs, and still dance in a group of your boys, or in the corner alone because you didn't see what you liked on the dance floor? Maybe they were the wrong height, shade, weight or race. Whatever it was, you decided that you were not interested. So you chose not to speak... We, too, have criteria. Don't be offended if you don't stop us in our tracks with your words of greeting. Don't be mad if we don't accept your dinner invitation. Don't get angry because we don't want your phone number. Don't think we're stuck-up just because we don't want to talk to you. Don't call us names because we weren't dazzled by your smile. Don't be mad. Because you just might not be our type. Accept our smile as confirmation that we appreciate the love you are showing us as you acknowledge our beauty by saying "Hello". |
