First of all, I would like to give a big shout out to everyone that
is out here on BlackPlanet! In addition, I would definitely like to give a big shout out to my Distinguished Brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated. A big Skee-Phi goes out to the ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha as well! I love to hear from my Phirst Phamily. I am from Chicago, Illinois better known as The Windy City. I am 6'1" and about 250 lbs. I am definitely a solid brotha! & I would describe myself as being down to earth! I love to shoot pool, play spades, darts, bid whist, and dominoes. I love to party from time to time. I am not a club person, but I do like the a good bar. Bacardi 151 & Coke is my choice of spirit for the evening. Recently, I have come to realize..."If you do not have any goals or dreams, you will work for someone who does!" My goals are to be a cash millionaire, not just in assets. I have on old school way of thinking when it comes to relationships and family. I would love to make enough money so that my wife can make the decision upon whether or not she wants to work. Also, brothers make sure you are investing and please have a game plan in place for retirement. Learn to be debt free and financially independent. I also want to add ..Most People Don't Plan to Fail, They Fail to Plan.' If you like what you've read please dont be 'chi' and feel free to Get at me....... I am definitely a sports fanatic! Give me my ESPN SportsCenter & Pardon The Interuption anyday. I am a Chicago Bear, White Sox, and Bulls Fan. For those that know Chicago Sports, if you a Sox fan, there is no way in hell you can ever be a CUB fan. Give it up to the "2005 WORLD CHAMPION CHICAGO WHITE SOX" I've waited 31 years to say that!.....The Chicago Bear Defense is truly something amazing to watch! I also like Collegiate Sports as well! I am a BIG 10 fan...Any team from the Conference gets love from me! ....In my opinion, the best game of 2005 was The Fighting Illini vs. The Arizona Wildcats during the NCAA Tournament.....That game is a classic....what a comeback! Nothing against New Yorkers but, I HATE all New York teams, especially the Yankees. I also LOVE to cook and I love to eat as well! If you are looking for a good cocktail, for any one that comes to visit to Chicago here are some great places that I recommend! A great bar I recommend is 9 on Randolph Downtown and La Cantina Grill on 19th & Michigan Ave, in the South Loop for Sangria and Margaritas. I also recommend the M Lounge in the South Loop on Wabash Ave. It is a great place to meet singles on Wednesday Night! For those that like to stay in the 'hood.....You gotta go to Red's Next Generation on Stony Island and Francis.. on 75th St! They stay open late and the drinks are stiff! If you are ever in the Hyde Park Area, check out Bar Louie off 55th St. For those of you who want to go upscale...the ambiance at Blue 47 is great....especially on a Thursday Night! On Monday Nights...I recommend The Family Den on 89th & Stony Island. It is located on the South Side! You can listen to some Deep House and get ya drink on! On Thursday Night, you can also check out Visionz on 89th & Ashland Ave. It is a great time to get broke off right before the weekend! I also like to get my eat on from time to time.....My favorite restaurants in Chicago are Giordano..s for their Deep Dish Pizza, Fontano's for a homemade Sub, Fogo De Chao - My Brazilian Meat Lovers favorite, Grand Lux Cafe on Michigan Ave. My Breakfast Spot is definitely Sweet Maple's Cafe on Taylor St. In the summer, be sure to check out Mario's Italian Lemonade & Margie's Candies.... For those folks that love the Greasy Spoons.....For Rib tips, stop by Alice's BBQ on 43rd & Wabash and for Chicken, stop by Harold Chicken Shack. You also cannot leave Chicago without having a Maxwell St. Polish! That is located off the Roosevelt St. Exit on the West side of I-90/94! Musically I am really into Old School! I love R&B, DEEP HOUSE, Hip Hop, Jazz and Steppers Music. My favorite artists are Barry White, James Brown, Michael Jackson, MFSB (Best known for the Soul Train theme), Marvin Gaye, and Roy Ayers, Prince, Jamiroquai, & Sweetback.
