Greetings Black Planet. I my reason and purpose for being here is because I have a burden to spread the Good News of the gospel of christ..   For I am not ashamed of the gospel of christ for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth.Â&Acir c; To the jew first and also the greek.ÂÂ&n bsp;rom 1:16

The verse of scripture the captualizes on the meaning of the gospel is Matt 1:

 21And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

You see the Gospel is the good news of what Jesus shall do ! Not what he might do , or what we must do even, but of what He shall do.

And what is the scripture saying he shall do ?  For he shall save his people from their sins...

Who is Jesus first of all ? For scripture tells us that He is the very God of Heaven manifested in the flesh. Thats right my brothers and sisters , Jesus is God Almighty...

Lets Look at  John 1:

1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

 2The same was in the beginning with God.

 3All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

 14And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

You see ladies and gentlemen ;  scripture says the word was made flesh and dwelt among us. Of course we know that this is specifically talking about centuries ago but neverhteless it is true. Another scripture says , 1tim 3:

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

So now we have established that the bible does teach us that Jesus is God.

Next we want to consider what it is he shall do ? For it is said that he shall save !  Yes  ; he is a saviour today. A saviour is not a saviour if He does not save. You see a saviour does more than justÂÂ&nbs p; offer to be saved, more than just gives an opportunity to be saved , but a true saviour saves..

Isa 63:

1Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.

And another actsÂÂ&nbs p; 4

12Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Who did jesus come to save ?  Why  ;our text answers this important question , for he comes to save his people.

And who  ;is his people ? The answer will suprise you .

His people are a chosen seed , a seed that was given him before the world began. Isa speaks of this seed in the 53rd chapter let us look at it please..vs 10 10Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.

This seed is spiritual and it comprises individuals of every nationality througout the world. This is who Jesus saves His people  His sheep. Now everyone in world is not a sheep , but only those elected by God the Father and given to the son before the world began. Lets look at jn 17:

1These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:

 2As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.

Jesus in this same chapter prays not for everyone in the world vs 9

 9I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.

These are they That Jesus christ shall save in fact he has saved them  and now i am here to tell them the good news...
