why do we invest time and energy in other people? why do we have friends? i'm talking about the people you see and talk to everyday, not that facebook "friend" bull%#&@$!, but the flesh and blood of another human being, their heat, passion, personality. spending time together, texting every five minutes about what the boss said or what some jerk did while you were standing in line, sharing secrets, agreeing to disagree or agreeing to disagree and having a drink on it type of friend....
