I guess I should start off by giving you a little bit about myself. Havent updated this in a while so i guess now is as good a time as any (07/31/09). I am a graduate of Tennessee State University with a degree in Philosophy/English. I currently have a good job but know that this is probably not what I want to do with my life so I intend on going back to school and getting my Masters so that I can become a college professor. Yes, I`m trying to do big things so make sure whatever it is you are doing with your life, you`re making the most of it. I loved college and am enjoyed my time there but like everything else, business was taken care of first. I'm originally from Illinois but I live in Nashville now so if you're looking for me, thats probably where you'll find me. I`m 6`1 and I`m athletically built. I love to play sports mainly basketball and football. I don`t smoke or drink, I have an great job, my own car, all that good stuff women claim they're looking for lol. I am currently SINGLE. Not really looking for anything right now cuz I'm cool where I'm at in life. I just use this to pass the time when I'm bored at work and see whats goin on in other people's worlds. So if I do leave you a message complimenting you or just speaking for the hell of it, its ok to be cordial and say hi back or something. Everybody that speaks isnt tryin to f*** you. Trust me lol. I am also proud to announce that I have recently been blessed to have my first child. She's a beautiful little girl and the love of my life and sole purpose behind everything I do. I like to do alot of different things, I love movies, videogames, shooting pool, drawing, tv, sports, all that good stuff. I can be a bit quiet when you first meet me but I can become one of the best friends you`ll ever have because I stay down to earth and always real with you as long as you're real with me. I like to consider myself as a individual. I hate being just part of a crowd or doing something just because its what everyone else is doing at the time. I like to march to the beat of my own drum and enjoy those who do the same. I`m a very mellow person who just likes to chill so if you like anything you've read feel free to drop me a line. Never hurts to make new friends.
I love all types of women so no need to ask what my type is because my type is whatever it is about you that makes you special. I dont have a specific type of woman that i look for, but these are some of the things I look for in a woman so ladies read carefully, its very simple: Gotta have a sense of humor (very sexy to me). Outgoing but still likes the quiet nights at home. Caring (I need you to care for me the way I know I can care for you). Intelligent (I want a woman to stimulate my mind as well as my body). Those are really the only essentials. Aside from that, whatever else you got just makes you more special.
THINGS THAT BUG ME:
*People who just assume everything will come easy to them because it has up until this point.
*People who make the statement "I know a secret about you but I can`t tell you what it is". Then don`t bring it up in the first place.
*College students who still spell like 5th graders. Get it together people. Come on.
*People who call and wake you up ten minutes before your alarm is supposed to go off. Those ten minutes are precious ;-)
*Memphis drivers. I don`t know what goes through your heads when you get in the car.

Before I go, there is an issue that I would like to address regarding our beautiful black women. Why is it that so many of you pass on the guys that you know would treat you like the queen that you are so that you can be with the guy who treats you more like a passing sex opportunity than a companion? Why do so many of you feel like you have to pass on the guy who tries to make every day with you special to talk to the guy who got drunk at the club and asked you foryour number? A word of advise ladies: those men that you overlook now are the many of the good ones that many women believe aren`t out there. Constantly getting passed over for gold teeth and spinners doesn`t make our opinions of what women want a positive one. So take advantage of the good opportunities right under your nose. Stop making the nice guys finish last.
