2LOOSE THE COMEDIAN is taking audiences by storm with his NYOFace (in your face) style of comedy. He has the ability to speak in pictures and brings everyday life humorously to the stage with a bang to give his fans something to both laugh and think about.
Born Jacques West, Jr., in Mobile, AL and the son of a minister, he moved to Atlanta to attend Clark Atlanta University in the summer of 1991 to major in Physics and Math. 2LOOSE's first break in comedy came in 1994 when he, then attending the University of South Alabama, opened for Ray Ray (Mobile) and the infamous Rickey Smiley at a school sponsored comedy show. From that point on it was clear that they had created a monster and a year later he moved back to Atlanta to pursue this new found passion.
2LOOSE splits his time between Mobile and Atlanta and over the years, he has been instrumental in founding the Mobile Comedy Cartel (MCC) and has promoted and produced comedy shows all across the Southeast , including Columbus, GA, St. Petersburg, FL, Bay Saint Louis, MS, Mobile, AL, just to name a few. He is also the booking manager for the Last Dragon Comedy Pub of Montgomery, AL. When not on the road, he loves to spend time with his two beautiful daughters Lyric and Melody.
2LOOSE is an ever evolving comic and has spent years perfecting his craft and prides himself with the ability to read any audience and is versatile enough to rock some of the hardest comedy spots and can turn full circle to make his father the preacher proud. From sharing the stage with some of biggest names in comedy, Rickey Smiley, DL Hughley, Bruce Bruce, TP Herns, Sommore, Pierre, Tyler Craig, Broman, Corey ?ZOO? Miller, Doug Williams, Shuckey Duckey, Michael Blackson, Shang Forbes, Shaun Jones, to name a few, to featuring and headlining across the country for an ever growing fan base; it is now time to unleash this gem of a talent to your city, as well as, the world.
