HELLO & WELCOME to all who have choosen to visit the Lair of the BIRDMAN...Thank you...
My Background... I was born and the BIRDMAN was hatched in WASHINGTON, DC...born on a cold snowy day in February...on what now seems like a long time ago (laughing)... The BIRDMAN was hatched in the heat, some 15 or 16 years later on a basketball court in Southeast, DC...Damn, that was a long time ago...(still laughing)... Over my many years I've done and met and have seen damn near everything, and everybody and now I have the opportunity to meet you... I am also a well traveled "Bird"...my flights have taken me all over this amazing country...and around the world...there are only two states that are united that I haven't been in (Montana, and Idaho)...but the "Bird" has flirted with the rest of the world and I loved it (and still do...) athough my flights aren't as often as they used to be...your BIRDMAN is still flying... I always (you should too) never forget who I am, how my people came to be, and how the unequal balance of life is afforded to us as a one...So don't be alarmed...something happens to us every day...somewhere...(black man bobbing his head to his music, while driving his car...white cops pull him over...make reference to his music (rap) and his race, than slam him on the ground, shoot him twice...), not all of them like you or anything to with your kind and are always looking for a chance just to get 'cha, or humilate us... My long history shows a lot of injustice although I've come thru the civil rights time, where our forebearers, like the ones before them, pave the way for a better life for us all...we have and are still doing the same thing today (it's just some of us forgot)...I love BLACK people...Let me shout it from the tress...I LOVE BLACK PEOPLE!!! There is nothing that we haven't done...we've even taken the lead at some things that were considered to be not for us...I'm gonna throw a few shout outs here...Harriet Tubman has to be one of the most revered blacks ever...I want to give this scenario...if your black azz was here in Georgia (slave)...to get to fredom you had to get above the Mason-Dixon line...that's just about Delaware...(that's about 9 hours driving time from here), but it's months of WALKING/RUNNING time...and you could have gotten from here to Virginia and get caught and still be the slave you were before you got away from here...now it's tabacco and not cotton you're picking...we've come a long way...please don't forget...Just a passage...so when you see blacks (old blacks) smile at the mention of President Barack Obama...it is way more to it than him just being the President of America...he represents the overcoming of the steadfastness and the resiliency of us all... GEORGE CLINTON...John Thompson (my B-ball coach)...all the actors & actressess who helped keep the faith...the comedians who told the jokes to keep us laughing at ourseleves(Richard Pryor, Red Foxx, Moms Mabley) (I'm shedding a tear here)...Man, I LOVE BLACK PEOPLE...I could go on & on but I should stop...this is the fourm for it though...keep your mind in thought because I just touched the surface...if you aren't aware ask yo' momma...if she's not aware ask yo' Gran'momma(laughing again)...

 WARPEDCHERRY.COM One day some time ago I stood in the desert, I wondered if anyone really cared if I died for my country...there was a voting rights bill on the table for the President to sign(he signed & so did his son for 25 years before another signiture is needed...sorry Obama can't abolish that one)...I cried...after all the years of dying for this country...it still takes a Presidential signiture to allow a Black Man to vote...why???
