There is something very sinister going on in Tennessee. The Tennessee GOP contradicted itself by first attempting to suppress information about registered gun owners; then post defeat, requesting the same information - in violation of the very privacy of those they sought to protect. The Art of GOP Politics is deception and divisiveness. While it is apparently not politically correct to directly address the issue of "racism in America", it seems perfectly acceptable for conservatives to promote these deeply engrained views through various forms of mind controlling propaganda. Nashville's recently ousted School Board Chairman recently released a memo alleging that the Chamber of Commerce has conspired with and manipulated certain School Board Members to pass a re-districting plan which "intentionally" re-segregates the schools and continues to leave too many children behind. Already, NCLB has raised the standards of performance without providing adequate resources for all children to enable them to meet the stringent standards. Indeed some kids have been struggling... It is very unfortunate for the American people when our government de-regulates industries, thereby opening the door for predatory practices among greedy capitalists who, without incentive, otherwise have no conscience. I am concerned about the expanding power of the extreme right to deliver as many Black heads as possible on a platter.
