Yanno Soror, today has been a tough day for me, knowing it's bee 1 year since my mini midget ascended to become one of God's angels. I know they say to not cry since you are at home and in peace, but, I did anyway. I don't consider it losing you, just missing you until we meet again. In Memory of AkaDemiks...Breast Cancer Awareness: Blog 1- Breast Self Exams (BSEs)

On August 5, I lost one of my closest friends (online and in general life) to her battle with breast cancer. As much as I didn’t like to talk about it, we talked about Shaw’s (Black Planet screen name AkaDemiks) wishes if she didn’t beat “the monster”.  I was asked to contact a specific list of people as soon as I was notified.
