getting yours has a broad implication, not being satisfied can be both positive and negative. Advancement sometimes means stepping back. In order to move forward, whether mental physically or spiritually, it comes a time when the rubber hit is the road. When pride or emotion rears its ugly head causing us to pause. This is where the decision of whether it is to our advantage to step back ,take the lower road, shoulder some strange stars or office roamer, for hopes of regrouping and coming back strong..(Good in theory) this seemly simple task changes drastically when the risk closely matches the reward, this when the gamble may not be worth the risk. My fiends this is the moment when both success and failure stories are made, when you wake up a feel so blessed to had made the decision or sink into the abyss of alcohol or drugs, because life as you once knew it has changed forever never to return. It is at this point people that greed meets ambition. Will you gamble, and if so, how far??? Should we learn to be content or should we strive for higher heights, as we as people move into history with our brother democratic node, what would your choice be when we have been taught a bird in the hand beats two in the bush. I stepped out onto my front garden and i could not help but to notice 2 simple roses had bloomed, a feeling of accomplishment mix with excitment filled my thoughts. it is truely those things that we tend to take for granted that have the potenial, to bring us the most joy, secret joy, quiet joy, private joy, the type of joy that make you smile internally.. For example, the right ending to that movie, a thunderstorm in the spring, a compliment on a bad day, finding that u balanced your checkbook wrong and there is an extra $378.00 in the account lol ,(help me yall)we spend so much time focusing on the lofty, how much of the simple have we missed. Open your eyes,slow down ,smell the roses, life is for the living increase the quality by takeing note to the small and simple things that life has to offer, those things that" make us smile"........ The other day i got news that one of my high school friends had just passed .. after the shock subsided i began wondering, this girl, was a hard working well conditioned work of art. how does cancer trump all the correct life/style standards? we all know of hard party going,foolish risk takers that live to be 75-85 years old ,when this person lived right attended church and remained active well into her 40th year... who's finger is on the button? an why take our best and brightess and leave the foolish behind???
