The War that started within our relationships does not have a date when it was Declared . I just remember a time in the early 80's when I saw I was in the midst of it . My closest childhood friends told me with tears in their eyes of how their parents fought and asked who do you want to live with. Im sure some of you were asked that same question, saw the same fights . Perhaps even shed those same tears . But This War and it is a War. Whats painful ? I see people that were not even Born when it started . Completely innocent of the destruction that began before they even were a hope or a dream . Yet We are here now and have taken up the same Weapons to continue Fighting each other the way Men and Woman, Mothers and Fathers , Couples fought each other in the past . We had a Big enough War to fight before we began fighting each other . We fought that War Together in Valorand Great Strength whether in the back of a Bus , In a School or Crossing a Bridge . We all see us getting shot in the streets now . Sometimes by ourselves .Sometimes by the police . And we see a Separate Mother and a Separate Father come together briefly for the justice of their lost child . Thats Painful ! Regardless of how strong we all claim to be . Perhaps we should try to be stronger . Strong enough to say This War stops here . I did not meet the Love of My Life Warring with them , I will not leave Warring with them . And if they are indeed the Love of my Life I will only go to War to stay with them. And I wont place my child in a world of war they know nothing about . And are not even responsible for . Lets be Strong enough to want better for each Other .Our kids . Our Relationships . Its said The Sins Of The Father are Burdened by the Son . Let Us Not Create More Burdens For Ourselves By Destroying Each Other . Thank You ...
