I love to laugh and to evoke laughter in those around me. My two enemies (aside from rodents and snakes) are stress and drama. I strive to maintain an outlook of optimism despite the circumstances with which I am faced because strength comes through enduring struggles. My family and friends consider me as confident, smart, witty, stubborn, loyal, and free-spirited. When I am in a relationship, I am passionate, devoted, attentive and supportive. Like most, I have experienced the euphoria of being in love, celebrated many career successes and reveled in personal accomplishments. I have survived heartbreak from failed relationships, heartache from loosing family members and friends, and disappointments from career setbacks and dreams deferred emerging from each episode wiser and more resilient. I enjoy indulging my varied hobbies/interests which include music (it keeps me centered), movies, comedy clubs, traveling, going to the beach (I love being near the ocean even though I can’t swim), day spas, reading, writing, photography, cooking, dining out, hiking in the mountains, horseback riding, dancing, and cultural activities. I hold a deep appreciation for nature; a sunrise/sunset, waves rolling along the shore, cresting against boulders, leaves turning in the fall and budding in the spring, the multi-colored, artistically etched mountains of the South west, the majestic canvas of a blue sky, white clouds hanging low over a mountain range inspire awe.
