Romell and I met in June 2007. Romell started to send me notes on here and it took me awhile before I ever replied to him. I am so glad that I did. We exchanged phone numbers then we spoke on the phone for about a month before we decided to meet face to face. There was a small distance between the two of us. Only about an hour apart. We would talk on the phone 24/7 regardless of us both being at work.

2 months after meeting up with each other on the weekends Romell came to Richmond for my dads birthday party. We were sitting in the car when he pulled out a little black box and proposed to me. He even asked my father and my step father for my hand in marriage.

We were married on October 4, 2008. A beautiful wedding, one that all girls dream of. We are still as happy as ever as if we just met. I love him and I know he loves me. Thank you Blackplanet for making a way for black people to find their soulmates.
