In November 2001, I was browsing through the various ladies that were from Minnesota. That day I must have looked at about a hundred pages. Out of all the pages I saw that day I ran across Kaibe's page. I wasn't dating anybody and being a Christian man I ran into a lot of people claiming to be Christian but are the total opposite and I thought it would be impossible to a good Christian woman on BP. The first words I read on her page was, "I value my relationship with family, friends, and GOD". So I thought I'll send her a note. Out of all the notes she got that day I was the only one she replied to. A couple notes later we exchanged numbers. We talked on the phone everyday for about 2-3 hours for about 2 weeks before we met. We both were living in Minnesota at the time. She came here to go to school ( U of M) and I moved here with my family.
We met for the first time in a neutral place (Club South Beach). From that point on we charmed each other. On November 18, 2001, I asked her to be my woman (I remember because that's my mother-in-laws birthday). After about 2-3 months it became very serious. We were discussing marriage and having kids. June 2002, we went to Mississippi to visit her parents and I asked her father if he didn't mind me marrying his daugther. He said yes, so I asked her mom and she said yes. A couple of months after our trip I proposed to her and she said yes. We planned our wedding in 2 1/2 months. We were married December 14, 2002.
The good Lord, Jesus Christ has truly blessed our marriage. We have grown in love greatly and we have to beautiful princesses (Alexis-3 & Kamara-1), and we are discussing having 2 more.
We both serve the Lord with gladness at our place of worship: Shiloh Temple International Ministries in North Minneapolis, MN. We congratulate all the people who has found their husbands or wives through this website. May God bless your marriage as he has blessed ours.
