Hi I am a 36 year old divorcee and mother of a lovely daughter and handsome son.I am an Engineering Technician and it is a career that I truly love. Formerly, I was a police officer for 11 years. I love meeting new people and visiting place just for the sake of going. I've spent most of my adult life married so I'm kinda of new to the dating thing and quiet frankly it's sometimes quite discouraging. I believe in friends first so even if I embark on a relationship that doesn't work, hopefully some sense of friendship can remain. I don't do the drama, lying, or the "Nah baby for real I'm single" when that's not the truth. Lying is a total deal breaker for me. I don't suffer from the "Angry Black Woman" phenomena. Yes I've always been in careers where I made complex decisions that affected others besides myself as a business owner and as an employee. That's what I do for a living but when I am with a MAN, not just a pants wearer, that authoritative nature is checked at the door because when I'm off, my MAN will be the in charge with me as a trusty assistant so to say. I'm old fashioned in the sense of my core values where my family is concerned. I'm loving and trusting but far from naive.
