This weekend, I watched "Akeelah and the Bee" for the first time.  I recall a couple years ago, when the film was being advertised in the theater.  With Angela Bassett and Laurence Fishburne, it was bound to be a good movie.  But of course, the title role was played by a little girl that should have a bright future in Hollywood, Keke Palmer.

The American people have gone to the polls in this historic election, and with regards to the selection of our country's new president, the proverbial "Fat Lady" has sung her song. And apparently she sang a Stevie Wonder Classic, "Signed, Sealed, Delivered, I'm Yours", which has been one of the songs played at most of the rally's for President Elect Barack Obama. Damn!
