Hey what's up, my name is Arnold, what Democratic Unity means to me is much more than just party politics. It also means brothers and sisters coming together with one mind and one spirit to change a system and Party that has taken us for granted for far too long. I founded http://www.demunity.com Democratic Unity to be the place we come to talk and debate issues that affect us as a community. The political process can be a powerful vehicle to bring about change, but we need to know the issues, the players and the avenues available to us to have our voices heard. Barack Obama is our first African American President in the history of the United States.

Make no mistake; we are living in a time of great historical context. I want to be able to tell my children's children that I became serious about my life and the lives of others. I am truly inspired.
