Diamond In The Rough: Someone (or something) that has hidden exceptional characteristics and/or future potential, but currently lacks the final touches that would make them (or it) truly stand out from the crowd. Naturally occurring diamonds are quite ordinary at first glance, and their true beauty as jewels is only realized through the cutting and polishing process. I'm not here for on-line dating or to find a husband...I'm extremely happy with my status at the moment. I will start by saying that I'm constantly striving to be a better person. I'm always open to listen to new ideas and views and try to understand them even if they are the opposite of mine. It doesn't mean I'll be convinced but I am willing to fully listen and learn of other points of view. I understand my role as a woman. I'm not intimidated by my man's success; rather I celebrate his success because his success provides a stronger foundation for us.
