What's Up BlackPlanet!

Welcome to the DJ Enuff BP Page!

When you hear the name DJ Enuff, the first thought that goes through your mind is “The Heavy Hitters” or “HOT 97.” Whatever that initial thought might be, DJ Enuff has branded his name and his crew throughout the radio waves.

You can find Enuff spinning at the hottest NYC and NJ night clubs, the most talked about album release parties and other high profile and sports events. Enuff also contributes to different charity events in order to raise awareness and support organizations.
DJ Enuff was raised in the lower east side but spent most of his adolescence in Flatbush, Brooklyn. He attended Kingsborough Community College and majored in Communications and Broadcasting. Enuff got his start filling in for the legendary DJ Red Alert on 98.7 KISS FM. He quickly became Red Alert’s permanent substitute and before long he would advance to his own slot Mondays and Wednesdays 10pm – Midnight, and this was just the beginning. This is the life of someone who was destined to be a DJ.

Audiences loved his DJ skills and clubs everywhere were looking to book DJ Enuff. Because of the high demand, Enuff decided to return to deejaying local parties. This seems to have been a leap of fate for DJ Enuff because he caught the attention of the late legend Notorious BIG and suddenly became his road DJ.

On the road with the Notorious BIG was a memorable experience for DJ Enuff. He reminisces about the good times often. One fond memory he can recall while on the set at these concerts was how the whole crowd would join together and sing his songs in perfect harmony. “It’s such an amazing feeling,” says Enuff.

After some time passed, the programming director at WQHT HOT 97.1 FM NY offered him a spot on the morning show. He later made the transition to the commercial free rush hour which airs Monday through Thursday 5pm – 6pm and Fridays the extended rush hour from 5pm – 7pm. Since this evolution, Enuff has consistently held the #1 DJ spot of afternoon radio.

DJ Enuff is involved in many HOT 97 events including but not limited to: the Full Frontal Fashion Show, EBC Celebrity Classic and Nike Super 6. He is an annual participant of Hot 97’s Summer Jam and the New York City Puerto Rican Day Parade.
During 2003 – 2005 Enuff became a part of the BET family, deejaying weekly at 106th and Park, Pre BET Awards party and BET’s Spring Bling. He also partook in the Nike Battlegrounds, Latin Billboards, VH-1’s Hip Hop Honors and hosted many events at Macy’s Herald Square such as clothing launches etc.

You might have seen DJ Enuff rockin’ out at the following celebrity events: T-Pain, Chris Brown, Mims, Bow Wow, Gnarls Barkley album release parties, also T.I. and P. Diddy’s Listening Party. Enuff was also deejaying at Avalon for the 50 Cent performance, Mario’s performance at Duvet and the Lil Wayne and Birdman party to name a few. He also participates in launches for P. Diddy which include his Unforgivable fragrance for men and more recently Unforgivable for women.
DJ Enuff formed a college tour which included the following universities: SUNY Old Westbury, SUNY Stony Brook,  SUNY Buffalo, SUNY Albany, Buffalo State, Temple, Lincoln, Southern Illinois, Hofstra, Penn State, NYU, Pace,  Rutgers, Cornell and William Paterson. These events became such a success the colleges continue to book his services.

This multi-talented DJ just keeps thinking outside the box when he played a role in the movie “The Cookout.” He also appeared in the New York Post for the re-creation of the Art Kane classic portrait, “A Great Day in Harlem,” which was held on May 22, 2004. Influential New Yoricans from across the country came together on this special day they call a Spanish miracle. The portrait was named “A Great Day in Spanish Harlem.”

DJ Enuff has become part of the Pepsi family in a nationwide music campaign called the Pepsi DJ Division. On July 18, 2007, Pepsi began their tour& ;nbs p;of the “Pepsi DJ Division” and launched their new design in New York City with a “So you wanna be a Superstar DJ” competition hosted by DJ Enuff and Q-TIP. Pepsi chose 9 DJ’s from the New York region to compete and the winner advances to the finals in LA.  The finalists were chosen by celebrity judges Swiss Beats, Kanye West and Just Blaze. For more information log on to
