When history was made, where were you, and what were you doing ? I was watching the election, and keeping up with the numbers. I was explaining to my boys why it was such a big deal, and what it would signify if he won. On November 4th 2008, the United States, took the first step in the right direction, by breaking the tradition and starting a new one. That night I think I cried twice filled with pride that if you have the determination and a plan to succeed you can no matter the obstacles they present. In our house I was thinking of the future of our children, and what this means to them with telling them the history of where we came from and how we have fought, died and wanted this freedom.
