Well I've updated to the new "BP 2.0", so I guess it's time I update my message too!

I work, go to school and basically keep my nose clean. As you can see from the personal info I was born and raised in Baltimore. I've traveled some, but not nearly enough! I've learned alot, but again, not nearly enough...so much information and so little time.

Still reading...well here's some more about me and some things I've noticed during my time on BP, some good, some not so good...

If I see one more page with the words "no drama" (or any combination thereof) I think I'll scream! Be realistic, everyone has some drama in their life, unless they are dead. Day-to-day drama and how we deal with it molds our life and personality. Make good choices and diminish the drama, but it will always be there. Stay positive and constructive, filter your language and behavior. The three most important things in life are 1) to be kind 2) to be Kind and 3) to be KIND.

I have to say I'm impressed with the fact that more and more people pay attention to the News and Forum sections. To me this inidicates more awareness of world affairs and the importance of politics and getting involved.

Sisters and Brothers alike we have to stop peddling our bodies as our most important asset. Please, please, please get an education no matter how old you are or what your past educational experience has been like, remember "that's the only thing no one can take away from you". We have more to offer the world than our athletic or entertainment skills. It will be up to us to change the world and the way it views us and we can't do that dancing and grinning for white folks entertainment.

Yes I said it "white folks"...no I'm not prejudice, some of my best friends are white, but I am pro-Black, always have been, always will be! I believe that we as a people where ever we may live in the world are the only means to change things in our communities and in the world. No other group has any real interest in empowering us, we must take power for ourselves. It begins with self love and ends with love thy brother.
