First thing...I just have to say that, though I love MEN of all ethnic backgrounds, BLACK MEN are the MOST attractive species on the planet earth and I have nothing but the love, respect and honor for them. Of course, they are also the most frustrating/infuriating beings on the planet as well!!! I think so many of you underestimate the value of that old-school Integrity, the kind that our grandfathers used to have back in the day. How hard is it to simply tell the truth?!?

A little about me: I'm a free spirit. I'll try just about anything once & if I like it, I'll do it again :-) I love the ocean, traveling & working out. I'm also a freelance writer which means I spend most of the time with my laptop.

I find that for me, there are a few non-compromising, must-have qualities that I look for in a man:

*Integrity-your word is your bond. You mean what you say and you say what you mean

*Ability to be honest-I despise liars. With honest comes respect. I'd rather you hurt me with honesty then make me feel great with a lie! Most people can handle the truth if they are given the truth as an option.

*A sense of humor- there is nothing sexier than a brotha that can make you laugh so hard that you cry!

*An inherent need to participate in intelligent conversations on a regular basis- Like the air that I breathe, I need this form of stimulation to survive. If we can not talk, then we CAN NOT

Above all else, I value honesty and trust and despise DRAMA that I am not watching on the big screen!!

I'm from the ATL...Been in South Florida for abut 2 years and well, lets just say that the verdict is still out but its not looking too good:-/

South Florida is... 'special' (thats what my grandma used to call folks that just weren't quite right).

One final note: I can't understand why anyone would have a page on this site without one, single picture of themselves!?!?!? To that end, Sorry but I DO NOT/WILL NOT respond to notes from members that do not have photos on their page of themselves-PERIOD. (Just so we are clear, NOT a picture of your child/dog/cat/car/motorcycle/art/favorite travel spot/etc). You get to see me so play fair:-)
