Love is something that everyone longs for.

We often find ourselves lying to people in order to gain their love.

Worst of all, we lie to ourselves by framing ourselves in the image of people's expectations and saying, "This is who I am."

The truth is that REAL LOVE doesn't force you to be anything but who you are.

Thankful for my life, because no one else can live it. It was designed specifically for me - for the spirit housed within this shell of a body. I have had my share of challenges and have risen to the occasion more than I care to remember, but thankful for them as they have helped to create the woman I am - the woman I love and revere. Well...my journey toward my ultimate destiny continues and it's been a BLAST thus far!
I am a writer and thespian, singer/songwriter, voice-over artist, AND I dibble & dabble in fashion design (sketches only for now).
I'm excited about the roads that lay ahead of me and looking forward to the connections I make on my way up.
My heart's passion is performing on stage...bringing a character to life. There's nothing like it!

Woman, child of a higher power, Mother, nurturer, friend, confidante, lover, sister, daughter, help-mate, consoler and counselor...

Fun, spontaneous, adventurous? Choose one - they all describe me. I'll try almost anything once...ALMOST.

Laughter is my heart's joy...a means of healing myself. So, I love to laugh...enjoying life and the people and things I come across during my journey through it.

I can be a bit corny most times. Ask my handful of friends. I'll sometimes be the only one laughing at my own jokes...or something that pops into my mind.

My life experiences have made me more than appreciative of the simple things - from the sound of the wind passing between the leaves of the trees outside my bedroom window each morning, to the darkest of rainy days. If it sounds silly to you - imagine not being able to see or hear them. Then, remember what I've just said.

I'm in a constant state of growth...ALWAYS seeking to be the best ME possible, and be the best at whatever it is I choose to do...and, believe me - I am. Don't hate, I can't help it...LOL! It's a gift from the most high.

And, because of this growth - I strive to motivate those around me to do the same.

Think, do and speak better and you will be better.

Through determination, committment and setting goals, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE! Desires can become reality. GOD - our Creator is sooo good!

I'm very open-minded. I don't confine myself to any 'box' or 'circle' like many do. I'm what you'd call a free-thinker, now and forevermore.

I have a thirst and passion for the creative and performing arts...I sing all 'de time, dance (as best as I remember how to), act (my 1st love), and write (my latest muse).

I absolutely LOVE MOVIES!!!! If I'm not in the theatre, any night at home could easily turn into a BlockBuster night...

 

 

It doesn't interest me what you do for a living. I want to know what you ache for, and if you dare to dream of meeting your hearts longing.
It doesn't interest me how old you are I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool for love, for your dreams, for the adventure of being alive.
It doesn't interest me what planets are squaring your moon. I want to know if you have touched the center of you own sorrow; if you have been opened by life's betrayals or have become shriveled and closed from fear of further pain!
I want to know if you can sit with pain, mine or your own, without moving to hide it or fade it or fix it.
I want to know if you can be with JOY, mine or your own; if you can dance with wildness and let the ecstasy fill you to the tips of your fingers and toes without cautioning us to be careful, be realistic, or to remember the limitations of being a human.
It doesn't interest me if the story you're telling me is true. I want to know if you can disappoint another to be true to yourself; if you can bear the accusation of betrayal and not betray your own soul. I want to know if you can be faithful and therefore be trustworthy.
I want to know if you can see beauty even when it is not pretty every day, and if you can source your life from ITS presence.
I want to know if you can live with failure, yours and mine, and still stand on the edge of a lake and shout to the silver of the full moon, "YES!"
It doesn't interest me to know where you live or how much money you have. I want to know if you can get up after a night of grief and despair, weary and bruised to the bone, and do what needs to be done for the children.
It doesn't interest me who you are, how you came to be here. I want to know if you will stand in the center of the fire with me and not shrink back.
It doesn't interest me where or what or with whom you have studied. I want to know what sustains you from the inside when all else falls away.
I want to know if you can be alone with yourself, and if you truly like the company you keep in the empty moments.

Traveling, boxing, playing pool, board games, swimming, bowling, skating, a game of dominoes, spades (I'm a MASTER), tunk, UNO (stop laughing), reading, chasing my son around the house, singing, sitting/playing on the beach in the evening, my babygirl's smile, personal growth (mental / spiritual), playing a round of Mancala, writing, telling my corny jokes, bar-b-ques, Funyuns, football (still learning the game), taking a break from writing, good - no, GREAT conversation, the company of family and great friends.



Sky and scuba diving, maintain my youthful spirit, ski, learn to ride a motorcyle (...maybe), make a difference to / for someone, FINALLY KNOW the game of football (my son will be happy), learn to paint on canvas, learn another language, never put my foot in my mouth...again, take a chance and try sushi, continue to think positive, grow, and learn.
