Hey Ya'll! My name is Alicia, Im 23 years old. I live in Bakersfield, ca. Its not the best place in the world but Im happy here. Im a licensed Manicurist and I work full time during the day. I also go to cosmetology school at night. I am confident, motivated, determined. I have a goal for where I want to be and after getting out an entirely abusive marriage I can finally start heading that way. I have no children right now. I do eventually want children though because I am very family oriented. I think laughter is very important, It heals you in a sense. So that being said, comedy/standup is on the top of my list of film/tv. Music is also a big part of my personality. I was raised on music, I went to an arts focused highschool where I majored in instrumental music and choir, as well as minoring in drama (so yes, I am a HUGE Glee fan!). I play the clarinet, the flute, the violin, the piano and the trumpet and I sing. You will almost NEVER see me without my ipod. Its the first thing I plug in when I get into my car and the first thing I grab when getting out. I listen to ALL kinds of music. You will find classic jazz, rap, hip hop, rnb, rock, classical and even country all on there. I love to cook and Im really good at it. Theres nothing more relaxing than turning up my ipod and cooking some good homecooked Puerto Rican food (which is my nationality btw, since Im sure youve assumed IM Mexican)
I would have to say Im highly guarded. Im not afraid to open up in conversation, but Ill be honest and say I definitely have trust issues. I am definitely one of those women who have just not had much luck when it comes to the fellas. which sucks because when I get to talkin to people I always hear "wow, i would be lucky to have a woman like you", or "whats wrong with him?" lol. IDK. Im just looking to get my feet back into happy water of dating. Im looking for that feeling that you lose when you get married. Theres nothing greater than the feeling of really liking someone, thinking about them all the time,that highschool crush feeling, the feeling of that chase that comes along with it. So hit me up.
