Hey Black Planet I'm back! Looking forward to making new friends. I enjoy Living, Learning, Laughing, Loving...good food,good drink, & stimulating conversation. I consider myself to be an intelligent, adventurous, straight forward romantic person. I enjoy dinning out but i also enjoy cooking for someone who appreciates it! I read a lot and enjoy being up on current events and having passionate discussions. I believe if you don?t stand for something you will fall for anything. I am all for uplifting our community economically, emotionally, and spiritually and I have in the past been very active, but right now I'm uplifting my community by setting an example for young ladies by the way I chose to carry myself in public. I am the very proud mother one grown daughter & one son. I don?t do the club thing very often but mellow live music with good food a glass of wine and intelligent conversation is what I?m talking about! I would love to meet an intelligent, romantic, adventurous, passionate, giving man that is spiritually motivated who makes me laugh out loud with low drama, knows what he wants and how to express himself. Is that a lot to ask for? I know we all are a work in progress and we all have our faults so I don"t like when men insult my intelligence by putting up a fake front. Be honest about who you are, give someone a chance to appreciate who you really are. Drop me a note & tell me what u think!
After awhile you learn the subtle difference between holding a hand and chaining a soul and you learn that love doesn`t mean possession and company doesn`t mean security. And you begin to learn that kisses aren`t contracts and presents aren`t promises and you begin to accept your defeats with your head up and your eyes ahead with the grace of an adult not the grief of a child. And you learn to build your roads today because tomorrow`s ground is too uncertain for plans and futures have ways of falling down in mid-flight. After awhile you learn that even sunshine burns if you get too much so you plant your own garden and decorate your own soul instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers.
