Salt Lake doesn't have it. Not yet..." So says Phabulous. A plus sized African American model with the attitude of a Queen and the heart of lion. In regards to the statement, Phabulous was referring to the short supply of plus sized and minority models available in Salt Lake City. "Phabulous" has endured the trials of being type cast for roles & modeling jobs. She also recognizes and fights against the mounting pressure that young women have to be slender and "Hollywood". As a contestant in Mo'Niques Fat Chance, phabulous knew two things: I'm P.h.a.t (Pretty Hot and Thick), I'm Phabulous. With endearing confidence and an indomitable spirit Phabulous took the experience back to her home in Salt Lake City, Ut. and is now establishing her presence in the plus sized modeling industry. When asked of past experiences in the industry, Phabulous states, "I'm only one person here to influence the perspective of many young impressionable women. Young women need to understand that there is more to beauty than what is skin deep." Look out for Phabulous to grace the covers and catwalks of the plus sized world. She is unique; Phabulous will take Salt Lake and create a change of perspective on what is real and what is beautiful and who can be both by not living up to the current ideaology that "Thin is In".
