(On the Poem) This was, once upon its time of no cognizant meter or semblance of stanza, a poem. For them that enjoy proem . . . The puctuation is somewhat arrant and imprecise, and I find that the word "guile," being incorrectly used, is not expressive of the thought that I then was expressly striving to convey, but to my credit many years have elapsed since 2000 even as many will frowardly flood from 2009 and we have all, of us, most certainly grown . . . as we will continue to...
