On a personal note.... Enjoy what life has to offer. We only get one chance (usually) to live this beautiful life God has given us. In life as I have been told, there are no excuses. Well since there are no excuses, there are only opportunities. Never regret what you can not change. Strive for the best, love sincerely, and speak sincerely. Love your friends and family. Most of all love your enemies. You do not know what they are going through. If you treat someone with respect (and I have never seen it fail) respect and generosity will come flowing in abundance. In conclusion, Love is like water. Live by it!

The Tea Party / A Retrospective Look at Divide and Conquer

Ok, lets look again, and I⿿ll tell u who will win. Do you remember Pat Buchanan?

From: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I ndependence_Party_of_Minnesota

The state party carried that name until it disaffiliated from the national party in 2000 due to factional dissent and the increasing influence of Pat Buchanan. The party immediately changed its name back to Independence Party. Buchanan, his most influential opponents having left the party, went on to become the Reform Party's candidate for president.

What does this matter?

The Independent Party was used in the 2000 Presidential elections to take votes from the Democratic Party. What if the this Tea Party movement was created by the neo-conservative Republicans to do the same? The Tea Party has no focal point yet, no way to define itself as a political force, beyond political extremism. Watch what I say, their purpose is only to get fence riding Democrats and Independents from voting for the Democrats. You may not like it, but noise makes more noise.

Let me Break it Down fo ya ⿦

Last week, a big contract for C-130⿿s was in the news. So what? Who makes them, from the bullets, to the nose, and where are the factories located at? Looking for a job? Also, we want to push NASA into private hands. Why? Thanks to the actions of Goldman Sacs, Moodys, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac, and the Bush Administration, this nation is facing austerity measures, from the closing of schools, (Chicago) teachers workining for free, (Los Angeles), and cutting back on NASA funds. The Democrats have failed to push this point, however, there is another angle to look at it. Can your state get some of that money earmarked for NASA? Our taxpayer, our taxpayer money was robbed from us tp finance the banks, so lets push our state representatives to lobby for that money back in jobs. Guess what? North Carolina license plates say it all .. First in Flight.

Can da NC get some of there money back?

What happened to the NC that was run by Helms?

This is a tobacco state and you can⿿t even smoke in the bars!

Let me call it, the Labor Party will win in England

Thanks to a volcano, and the response of Gordon Brown to use the Royal British Navy to return Brits home, this will propel Gordon Brown to an easy win. However, there is still a debt problem ⿦ who will crash first, Portugal or Britain? Let the Conservative Party lose, and the Labor Party will get blamed rightfully for the next crash of the pound. They followed the Bush Administration to close for the last decade. The Conservative Party will own British Parliament after the crash. Payback, son.

Besides, the Labor Party is tied to our military spending here. Yes, it goes against Keynesian economics, but we started braking the rules in the last Presidential Administration. Let me quote Rolling Stone, ⿿Did Bush Kill the Republican Party?⿝

To my critics, a day late and a dollar short ⿦

Time to Burn your Keynesian Books

I was questioning whether the Dow would hit 11,000 in 45 days. It may hit in a few hours. Is that good or bad? It is good if you are investing in it. The problem is the rate of speed the Dow has increased from 10,000. Its all mathematics, that started in Egypt. You can thank your Central Americans for the invention of the 0. (Yeah, the one cleaning your yard.) The next 1000 points will be the most critical for not only the US financial system, but the world as well. Why? Politics and economics. Watch the British pound closely, I stated it would crash in 5 more months. Will it happen before we hit 12,000? The rate in which the Dow is rising and global debt should be a concern to every investor. This is why the British pound should be studied closely. Want to know who to ask?

So my point? The Dow is going to either need to start a plateau, or it will start to fal just as rapidly as it has risen? Why? Three syllables that your financial advisor is not explaining to you. Debt ceilings.

My call:

Gold has fallen from highs last year, time to invest in not only in gold, but gold mining equipment as well. Can gold hit 3,000 in 5 ⿿ 10 years? I say yes.

Superman vs. Batman

I claim that the 90⿿s was the best music decade since the 60⿿s. Form grunge, rap, classical, and even country, the music was banging. Back then, the 2 ⿿ Pac vs. Biggie was bringing some of the best from East and West. Now, it is North vs. South. I don⿿t make the rules, I just play by them.

So ⿿

Is SPM the only rap rival to Weezie? Can SPM bring the sound of the South to the East?
Somos pocos perro locos. Don⿿t bring it to the streets, bring it to the studio, the basketball courts, the soccerfield.

The Prison Mentality/ Inside runs Outside

During the 1980⿿s, President Reagan started the push for tough on crime measures, even though during his Presidency, the Iran Contra Scandal saw cocaine being supplied to the LA gangs and money funneled to by send arms to Iran, with tax payer money. Now, those prisoners are coming home from their sentences to a distressed economy. Also, more people are losing their houses and becoming homeless. Welcome to the streets, folks. Here, the prison mentality, infests everything. This mentality, if uncontrolled, results in fanatics, gangs, and extremists.

What connects all US prisoners though?

Basketball.

Can we, as a nation, start a grass roots movement to put the guns down, and pick up the B-Ball? Here in Wilmington, we are home to basketball geniuses such as Jordan, Rondro, and Street Doctor. Are there any unrecognized athletes in your inner city, whether body builders, soccer players, baseball, girls football, or skate boarders?

What about chess players?

Oakster-Damn

The roadtrip you need to take? I was in San Francisco in 92, and got to see Haight-Ashbury, and do LSD there on New Years Eve. Oakland, at the time, was going through trouble at the time, but now, legalization of medical marijuana is bringing money to a once impoverished city. Wasn⿿t the Winter Olympics held in Vancouver, where marijuana is legal? Want to learn about the racism of our drug laws, and the last cocaine epidemic we had in the 1880⿿s, when cocaine was legal? So was marijuana. Check out the video in your local library, Doors of Perception.

GE is making a comeback by sticking to it⿿s original platform, technology, especially in medical supplies. Also, a look at GE financial and it⿿s loans for small businesses.

Islamic Art

I have been in the Great Pyramid of Giza, Jerusalem, The Blue Mosque, and Athens, to name a few cities. When we speak of Islam, since 9/11, the focus is only on the extremism of Islam. Understanding the Complexities of Peace in Jerusalem

For my readers, I thank you for your continuing support. The following three critical points must be understood by you before you can see a clear idea what is going on in Israel between Palestine, the United States, and the Middle East. I suggest reading the material highlighted, and also the following two books:

The Masks of God by Joseph Campbell
The Creators by Daniel Boorstin

The following CD⿿s should be listened to, and are available in your public library. If they are not, request them.

The United States and the Middle East, 1914 to 9/11 [sound recording - CD] / Salim Yaqub.

Critical Point Number One: Mesopotamia

Suggested Reading:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M esopotamia

Considered by historians as the cradle of Western Civilization, Mesopotamia, from the Code of Hammurabi, to cuneiform, to the Bible⿿s idea of a Great Flood, the three religions of the West, Islam, Christianity, and Judaism, all share there beginnings here. So? Well, that means all three also share the same origins in people, artifacts, and religious lands. That means Palestinians, Israelis, and Christians all revere Jesus, King David, Solomon, Noah, and other Biblical Characters. If you do not understand Mesopotamia, and how all three religions started here, then you will never, ever understand why there has been warfare, dating from the Crusades to present settlement building in Jerusalem.

Critical Point Number Two: The British Empire

From: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/B ritish_empire

⿿The British Empire comprised the dominions, colonies, protectorates, mandates, and other territories ruled or administered by the United Kingdom, that had originated with the overseas colonies and trading posts established by England in the late 16th and early 17th centuries. At its height it was the largest empire in history and, for over a century, was the foremost global power. By 1922, the British Empire held sway over a population of about 458 million people, one-quarter of the world's population at the time,[1] and covered more than 13,000,000 square miles (33,670,000 km2): approximately a quarter of the Earth's total land area.[2] As a result, its political, linguistic and cultural legacy is widespread. At the peak of its power, it was often said that "the sun never sets on the British Empire" because its span across the globe ensured that the sun was always shining on at least one of its numerous territories.⿝

From the late 16th century until World War II, the British Empire ruled some notable territories, including Africa, India, the United States, Australia, and the Middle East. The influence of the British Empire can not be misunderstood, especially in the Middle East when the subject of oil comes into play. British Petroleum, or BP, was a major economic, political, and military force in Iran in the 1940⿿s and 1950⿿s, and still is today.

Critical Point Number Three: The Political Shift of Power and the US / Post World War II

Ok, during the Second War, the United States entered later, just like the First World War. Many will see the bombing of Pearl Harbor as the reason, but Pearl Harbor was bombed after the United States was cutting off the oil to Japan. Since Pearl Harbor was the only physical damage (not counting numerous lives) the US came out the was as a confirmed super power, surpassing Britain, which suffered severely from bombings from the Germans. The Us had to fill the power vacuum that the British Empire left behind.

This must be understood. The US, then had to fill Britain⿿s shoes as a superpower. Jewish refugees from the war, started to flood into British controlled Palestine, from all over the world. Britain didn⿿t have the power to control it, and left the problem to the President of the United States at that time, Herbert Hoover.

President Herbert Hoover was then lobbied by powerful Jewish individuals for the Jewish people to have their land to return to. Between the powerful Jewish lobbyist groups and President Herbert Hoover, the flood of Jewish refugees to British Palestine, the fall of the British Empire, and the memories of the Holocaust, came the result, the creation of Israel.

Tomorrow, the US and the putting the Shah in power.

The Brown Renaissance

Many Latino, Central, Island, and Mexican children have been educated and raised in the US. Whether in art, street art, counter culture, music, writing, or elections, Latinos are going to be a strong force this next decade. Can they replicate the Harlem Renaissance of the last century?

Michael Lee, the Giant Killer

Who is Michael Lee? How can he possibly prove that what Lehman Bros. was doing was illegal? If Lehman Bros. can be found guilty, what about other financial institutions such as Merril Lynch? Where we forced by the previous Presidential Administration to bail out financial institutions that later jeopardized not only the security of the United States, but it⿿s position in geopolitics as well? Also, which federal agency, according to the Wall Street Journal, in December 2008, stated that it found no wrong doing by Lehman Bros? What does that mean now?

The Banks that Lend

Need a loan? The top three banks that listed in the Wall Street Journal as banks who increased in lending. The Bank of Jackson Hole (up 34%), Home Loan Bank (up 31%) and Centric Bank (up 30%). I⿿ll post their information for you tomorrow.

The Lost Kafka

The last century saw some of the greatest Jewish writers in centuries, Kafka is only one of them. Who where the others, and the importance of Kafka. Kafka⿿s lost writings are being fought over now, the details, and why they should return to Israeli Museums.

Investing in Africa

Could Africa be the next bubble due to Chinese investment? Nigeria, cell phones, copper mining, the Chinese and European companies involved, and companies to invest in and why.

The HAMP Program

President Barack Obama has a 50 billion dollar program to keep Americans in their homes. That could mean cuts in your interest rate as much as 2% or the median reduction nationwide in monthly payments is about $ 500. Your going to need to prove your income, pay your mortgage for three months, and other rules. I⿿ll try to find out, and give you the info.

Investing in a Nuclear India

According to the Wall Street Journal, Russian Prime Minister Putin is in India to build nuclear 12 nuclear reactors. What does it take to make a nuclear reactor? From water purification, security systems, and the loans, I⿿ll keep you on top of the Indian race for nuclear energy, and how you can make money. Also, a look at a Texas nuclear reactor and a whooping crane. What comes first, environmental safety or energy?

EMF? WTF?

The Greek debt crisis brought the possibility of an IMF bailout of the Euro-zone countries. The French President Sarkozy⿿s political rival is the head of the IMF. Can the Euro Monetary Fund save face for the French President in the future? Is their a way to invest in the EMF when it is created? What powers will it have, and who will control it?

Google vs. Bing

Google has been a victim of serious cyber attacks in China. Their company⿿s internet infrastructure continues to be jeopardized. Will Google stand up to the Chinese, or can this open the door for Bing to step into China? Will Bing face the same problems? What Chinese Universities are known for their cyber warfare? Also, the Chinese reaction to the US claims of poor human rights in China was, " the Us unscrupuously monitors citizens through wire tapping programs that began after the September 11, 2001 attacks." Are they right?

US vs Japan

For two years I have stated that the Japanese interest rate was stuck at 0% for thirty years when it hit a trillion dollars in debt. Will Fed. Chairman Ben Bernake get new governors who say the same thing?

President Barack Obama can not make banks loan now, for several reasons. One, they are the ones that put him in power, remeber the lobbyists he was going to get rid of? Two, with the interest rates so low, banks are investing in bonds, to shore there banks up. Why? There is still is a lot of uncertainty out there, unanswered questions, example? Is the commercial real estate "bubble" the next to burst in the United States? Two, the Dubai World scare, is it a repeat of 1996, when the baht fell and world currencies from Thailand to Argentina where affected? If it is, what is the next country to fail, Greece? Three, the sluggish economy, no one is buying out there. American retailers now are debating to slash prices 50 - 75% off? Where is the profit in that? Four, businesses, because of the sluggish economy, are cutting costs, employees, to survive. Now, what is the difference between President Barack Obama's Administration and President George Bush's Administration? President George Bush's Administration used Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, along with Moody's and Goldman Sacs, to give credit ratings that were deceptive, on sub-prime mortgages, that then where used to push loans to people that didn't deserve a house in the first place. So, now all of the sudden, these banks can say, oh, we can't lend? Americans where lied to, our money (700 billion under Paulson) was to get rid of toxic assets, with a three, THREE page proposal, and instead, our money was given to Dodge, American Express, and other companies that had nothing to do with these toxic assets. Another 500 billion of our money was given away under President Obama. What if, not in tax breaks, but in refunds, give $10,000 back to every American taxpayer, I bet that would stimulate the economy. Funny, that still doesn't add up to 1.3 trillion, does it?

From the Wall Street Journal
The American Dream II

"People's increasing willingness to abandon their own piece of America illustrates a paradoxical change wrought by the housing bust: Even as it tarnishes the near-sacred image of home ownership, it might be clearing the way for an economic recovery."

Thanks to a rare confluence of factors -- mortgages that far exceed home values and bargain-basement rents -- a growing number of families are concluding that the new American dream home is a rental.

So your embarrased? Don't want your friends to know you defaulted? Is it your fault that you signed a bogus mortgage, or the bank that lending the money to you? Oh, now that's the question of the century. Was it you that signed the contract, nowing that in 5 years your mortgage will jump in interest and payments, all because you wanted to "keep up with the Jones?" Or, is it the banks fault, because your keeping up with your mortgage, and now your house is not worth what it was ... who to blame? Greenspan, housing bubble, immigrant workers, the President, Paulson, Bernake, who is to blame.
DO what you must to survive folks. These banks and hedge funds can wipe off these "toxic debts" off their books, why can't we? These bad loans are being wiped off the BANKS RECORDS, COMPLETELY, yet we can't do the same? WHY NOT?
AND, like the banks are really going to lend small businesses money? Hah ... theres's no credit out there. Do the loans for everyone across the board! (Thank you Squack Box)

Stop and think ...

President George Bush, along with Paulson and Bernake, gave 700 billion dollars to banks, American Express, Dodge, and Chevy. 700 billion dollars, and 53% of that money is backed by the the Middle East.

then,

President Barack Obama signed off another 500 billion in the spring. That is 1.3 trillion dollars. 1.3 trillion.

Stop and think ...

A few weeks ago, the talk on the news was what to do with the left over 200 billion dollars. It was actually, actually, 700 billion dollars. The "extra" 200 billion dollars was from the first TARP package signed off by President George Bush.

Stop and think,

The news was saying that the Obama administration had spent only 250 billion of "his stimulus money."

Whose lying?
Whose telling the truth?
Where is our money going?

"So Tiger likes white girls?" He, like Maria Carey, and Oprah, lost their Black identity a long time ago. When Mariah came out, she too, also downplayed her being Black. Oprah's finally leaving, and taking her White audiences with her to her own cable network. Good. What did she really, really do for Black Americans? Or even minorities? Oh, she had her own show, show that you could do it, but only had White, White audiences. Ok, she bought 100 acres in Hawaii, but what did she do for New Orleans? Here's something:
3 weeks ago, Oprah has on her "Oprah Book List," a book on Rwanda. Oprah stated that "these books are hard to sell to Americans because of the names, and Americans just don't buy books about things outside America." That is why she is wrong. Her following waits for her to speak, just like Limbaugh's following. She could have promoted books dealing with Black folks and culture, experience, but has failed to do so.
Rwanda. How long ago was that? The Rwandan Genocide was the 1994 mass killing of hundreds of thousands of Rwanda's Tutsis and Hutu political moderates by Hutus under the Hutu Power ideology. Over the course of approximately 100 days, from the assassination of Juvénal Habyarimana on 6 April through mid-July, at least 500,000 people were killed. Most estimates indicate a death toll between 800,000 and 1,000,000. "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ Rwanda"
15 years? 15 years later, "Mutha Oprah," tells her audiences, White Folks, that Rwanda should be remembered? Where was she 15 years ago? Where was the US 15 years ago? In Bosnia, keeping Europeans from having genocide in their backyard. No one did anything, nobody. Now, Oprah wants to put a book on her list? Now that shes leaving?
How can we take Rush Limbaugh down? How? He, like Oprah, has blind followers, ready to get fed his ideology.
