I've heard people say that a Cadillac is a black man's car, but never heard them say it was a POOR black man's car.

Black folk don't buy Cadillac's for what they do for the black community, they buy them because they usually like the way the look or drive.

From a selling standpoint...Shaq INSIDE the car makes it look smaller than it probably really is...

That is all well and good that Cadillac does things for the community... but I just don't like the car itself. I would never buy one. . To me Cadillac screams gawdy and they are gas guzzlers. They ride smooth, but Cadillac just is not my style of car. I would prefer a Camry over a Cadillac. It seems like every old Cat daddy... that is the kind of car that they drive thinking they still got it. LOL

I really hate those Escalades, they just look straight niccarish to me.

This thread's made me sensative to Cadillac commercials.

I can't get this CTS commercial out of my head. I don' think I'd've noticed it before....

Cadillac will do that to ya.....

I remember the first time my dad bought one home.... the smell of brand new leather seats..... she was a beaut.....

I had to have one... so in 86 I got one.... burgundy interior and exterior.... I called her wine as she was fine and classy .... leather, hardwood, spoke rims, white wall tires, and all the goodies..... I would clean and wax her... take my time and make her sparkle....then cruise .....

whew ..... too bad I wasn't a pimpette back then LOL
