why do some black women opt to only date black males? (3,672)

As a black woman, I'm not really sure why we opt to do this. LOL. We definitely feel a sense of loyal-ship to our black brothers, for what ever reason. I date inter-racially. It's cool. Black people as a whole seem to share some sort of universal bond, at least here in the States. There seem to be things we can all relate to whether you were born in bred in New York City, Mississippi or San Diego. That's why we all throw down laughing at our comedians when they go into things we experienced coming up and things we continue to experience as Blacks in America. I'm all for interracial dating. It's an excellent way to learn about other cultures and traditions and become more knowledgeable in the process.

...I can see dating (courting)/marrying any race but White. I just refuse to believe that people who have gone around the world for millenniums trying to conquer non-Whites, abusing and destroying them as people, can suddenly change and become friends of the non-White races...I once heard someone say that everyone who acts friendly is not your friend and I wholeheartedly believe that that is applicable to White people lol.
