I mean Black men are the only race on this planet who berate Black women for their hair textures, the way Black women wear their hair, what weaves they wear or don't wear, and make an issue of Black women's hair being fake or real, perm or natural. Yet I'd never seen any White, Asian or any other race of men who make such issues about their race of women's hair like Black men do. We all know and I hope Black men know this too all races of women wear wigs. All races of women have issues with their hair. The difference is Black men go overboard with their excuses for not being with Black women, and hair is one of the reasons, Chris Rock's "Good Hair".

Black men go out of their way and to the extreme about Black women's hair because she wears a wig, weave, extensions, nappy, perm, locs, twist, etc and would even do a documentary about Black women and their hair. These Black men seem so educated about Black women and their hair yet totally ignorant about White and other races of women and their hair. Correct me if I am wrong but have you ever seen any documentary done by White or even Asian men about their women's hair? Are Black men that shallow and are ashamed to admit they are jealous of Black women and their hair or are they ashame to admit to hating Black women just because of their hair textures? What are your views and opinions? I would like to know.

Peace.

dayum we get ridiculed when we show we care and when we don't, why should a man not care how his woman's hair looks, his mom and sister, BW started perming their hair during the 70's and 80's to get higher paying jobs, had no choice, then others were jealous of high yellow and redboned BW cause of their sort of straightened hair, and some BM don't date BW cause they don't like the hair texture, no other race of people on this planet shares that but us, and that is GOLDEN, all other races share the same hair texture,

Sorry but I have to get in on this subject.A lady can wear hair, or whatever on her head, any style, it wouldn't change how i feel about all women, they are all still beautiful to me.The hair movie was created to show how important hair is to some people, and if you bought the ticket to see the movie then you wanted to laugh or you liked hair that much.

I think this is so true about how black men look at women and their hair. I think showing a documentary just proves the point, I think this is sad because we as black women are beautiful regardless of he extensions. I just their is just a huge insecurity issue on the part of black men. I really think this is sad. is not their something else to worry about other then hair i am just saying.

In the beginin, I was going to say it is because of inorance of black men. I then realized, that it's because overall we are stupid. we have been stupid for a very time.We let others dicitate how we treat each other and then we want hold each other accountable for the kaos in the relations within our community. The Black Community at large doesn't see Black men protecting black women unless it's get them on tv (ie jessie and al). What others have held against us, we hold against black women.

spell check, and I wouldn't go as far as calling myself stupid, nor ignorant, and I dayum sure wouldn't go as far as to say the only time the black community see's a BM protecting a BW is if he can get on t.v., since I protected several, putting myself in danger, and alot of times it's not worth risking yourself for a female who put herself in the mix, so before you go as far as to downgrade your own that way, USE YOUR BRAIN TO THINK OF THE SITUATIONS AND TROUBLE IT WOULD CAUSE,

would you go out with a brother, that didn't have his hair together, cut, shaved, kornrolled, etc. just out there, would you go out with your friends if her hair was out of wack, weave not even close to the same color of her hair, and the texture of weave isn't even close to the texture of a BW's hair even after she perms it, you can tell it's fake, it's tacky, and " WIGS" some females do not know how to wear one, just too lazy or broke to get there hair done, BW should be lucky BM care to talk to them about there hair, since we as blacks have been ridiculed for our hair period for decades

that is truly ridiculious, yeah some BM do talk about the texture of BW's hair, I don't know of toooo many, unless there talking about a female who lacks to do her hair at all, as bad as whites/asians,. hispanics and other peoples used to and still do talk shyt about the texture of Blacks hair in general, atleast BM are actually helping, no one wants to go out with a mate or friend who's hair is multicolored from the weave not matching the texture and color of the females hair, glue all over the place, or WIG sliding or over sized, I know there's more things to whine about than how someone feels about your hair, or whine cause someone commented towards the color differential, BM are concerned about the welfare of our woman and how they represent us, SO FEEL LUCKY cause we are the only race of people on the planet who can invent their own hairstyles and haircuts cause of the texture of our hair, AND FOR THAT WE ARE GOLDEN
