If you haven't already started yet you may want to start taking flaxseed oil or using flaxseeds in your recipes to get extra omega 3 fatty acids.

I'm proud of you my Nubian Sister on becoming a vegan. One of the best things I could tell you is that it's important that you seek out vegies grown with non hybred seeds. Most of what we consume is hybred yet grown oganically.

The Lord commanded us to be Holy and to eat a Whole food diet based on the Divine Dietary Laws. Whole means Holy and a whole food diet made from food that is all natural and organicly grown is considered to be a whole food diet. But if your vegies, nuts, berries, fruit & seeds are from genetically modified hybred plants then it is not Holy anymore because we are not getting everything the Creator originally put into those seeds for us to absorb.

When we eat vegies that we steam cook we must keep in mind that the heat from the steam destroys much of the nutrients.

So for those of us that need to steam cook vegies for the purpose of softening up our food; juicing is the best alternative.

I recommend that anyone who's concerned with this subject to purchase the book called " Drugs Masquerading as Food" By Dr. Suzar Epps.
