Ode To Women

More about Mother's Day, OK. This is a day I respect because without the women of the world, men would not know the meaning of responsibility.
This day represents a time when all poison darts and arrows shot in rage of discontentment are immune to infection of ingratitude.

We as men must show our appreciation of all women, only if required, and this day is a symbol of that duty towards all women.

Wives, girlfriends, "Mothers" sisters, grandmothers, aunts, and nieces must be thanked , for the invaluable contribution they bestow upon men.

Yes, my heart is hard in the ways of romance much of the year, but this day I can soften my heart and tell the women who are so dear too me that I love them.
For without their un selfish ways I could not be where I am today.

Like mountains they have stood fast through all of my turbulent winds and down pours of cascading ice, rain, and hail. They have stood fast through clouds and mist and allowed the rain to dry away the moisture with their sun filled ways, only to allow me to do it all over again.

Yes, the hearts of women are soft as clouds in Heaven, but their souls are as determined as the forming of diamonds. Without women I would not be the man I am today. I thank women for giving me a day to celebrate my love for them all.
