...or programming to be specific. Anyone else notice how old these technology threads are? I would bet that this thread will sit at the top for several months because nothing else is going on in here. On the other hand, move over to other topics like dating, current events, etc and the forums are flooded with post. Very interesting to say the least, this coming from a black man.

So, if you are not into technology or programming...why not?

I thought I could meet up with some programmers too but. BP is certainly the last place to look.

Look at these 010 posts and not a byte of code between ya, people have to be mind readers 010?
Why would any one stop here? Doesn't look very interesting!

Me:
I did some programming with C++, it seems to have changed a bit. Exceptions and more custom includes or libraries.
What I did? Nothing fancy.

Now, playing around with JavaScript and Php. Trying to determine what's the advantages and where best to use them.

It's a hobby for me.

I'm learning Python and digging it. I like the simplicity. I wish I learned that as a first language. I haven't tried the others you mentioned.

Javascript is for the client/browser. PHP is more server side processing. Which to learn, I say learn both as most likely you will run across them again.
