It was actually a pretty decent movie. The dude playing BIG didn't have a whole lot of range but he was ok. I think they should've gotten a new face to play 'Pac also, I just didn't feel that Anthony Mackie had that 'fire' and volatility 'Pac was known for having. The women playing Faith and Lil Kim were the only close look a likes to their actual characters.I see why Lil Kim was pissed off at the movie...It portrayed her as more of a 'jump-off/bytch-on-the-side' rather then the 'Ryde Or Die' chick she professed to be after he passed.I was left wondering why they didn' have anyone portray 'Charli Baltimore' since she was the 'side-piece' he was dating at the time of his 'demise'. Out of 4 stars, I'd give it 2 or 2 1/2...but that's just my opinion...Nymous

I did as well... and I surely should have waited for the bootlegit was a bunch of stuff already told through documentaries and interviewsALOT of stuff was left out..... and yes, Lil Kim was portrayed as nothing but the jump-off-- which she was but they shared a little more than how they depicted her in this storyand I said the same thing when it was over, "where was Charlie Baltimore?" He was with her for the last two years of his life.... But since we all know that Big's moms had her hand in telling the story....this wa going to be the outcome.BULLSHYT!

I saw Notorous last night. Okay, first of all, I agree and disagree with Li'l Kim on some things,. Yes, Natrui Naughton from 3LW looks nothing like Li'l Kim,. Not even in the slightest bit, but she still had a nigga caressing his balls in the sex scene they had together. Gratiutious nudity at its best, this side of Lisa Bonet in Angel Heart back in 87! Now, as far as Li'l Kim being p'd off about her portrayal...bytch, it is what is is. Biggie used you as a jump off and that's just the way it was. Biggie felt Kim until he laid eyes on Faith, then said "Li'l WHO?" I dont agree wtih how Biggie treated both of them. He was wrong for that. I mean, if you're gonna be that ugly, you should be glad either one of their desperate azzes gave you the time of day!! I ain't gay, but I'm just sayin..RIP, but Biggie was an ugly mothafukka. He said it himself in the beginning of One More Chance.."Hearthrob, Never/Big Black, and Ugly as Ever"! As far as the entire story, I felt they kind of skimmed through Pac, even though the story wasn't necesarily about Pac, per say, but they needed to show more. Also, I too was wondering where Charli Baltimore was. And another thing...Ms.Wallace was supposed to be from the islands. I love Angela Bassett, but I saw her portrayal as the same character she played in Meet The Browns: No nonsense mama, kicks son out for dealing drugs. According to Ms. Walllace, she didn't even KNOW Biggie was dealing until after he died! My rating is a 2.5 outta four

Well, 'Notorious' did decent at the Box Office...It grossed 21.5 mil even though it was in the fewest amount of theaters than any of the other movies in the top 10 except 'Slumdog Millionaire'.Nymous

what do you expect when the mama and the wife tell the story they are going to make the other woman look as bad as possible.and I think angela bassett is very one demensional the only way I know it's a different movie is by her hair

Reports of "Notorious"-related violence in NY and NC has already caused a few theaters to suspend showing this movie at their locations.What reason is there to fight or argue at a movie about a dead guy? A dead rapper, no less. I wonder if this would happen at a movie about Elvis?And some of you people (yeah, I said it!) wonder why "they" won't show black movies at "their" theaters! I don't think I would either... or if I did I'd double the price to pay for extra security.

I'm not much into rap!! So no I won't be spending $10.00 to see the film. They had fools out in sub-zero temperatures standing on line waiting to see the film.If someone gets the movie on bootleg; I may check it out otherwise I can do without it.

I wanted to check this movie out. However, after reading these reviews I think I'll just wait until it's on DvD. Looks like they left out too much of the story for my taste. Probably just a way for Puffy to get paid off Biggie since he didn't record 5,000 songs like Pac.
